Thanks for making this video, it's actually really easy to understand and informative. Lernt some thing I didn't know aswell. The other week I was walking near this reservoir close to home and saw some female red deer then I saw this massive red stag.
Hi Josh. Ah that's cool. Red deer are amazing to watch. Most of what I see in Victoria are Fallow Deer and Sambar so it's a real treat to see a big healthy red. I'm glad you got something out if the video :) be sure to share it with your hunting buddies if you feel it has value. Chris
@@Thehuntsmanshow yeah man, here in Sydney I haven't been able to connect with much hunters bit shy due to limited knowledge in hunting lol, I have been learning on my own and bits of info from here and there, and from elders, but here you have made me more confident in my hunting and I have put it into practice 😁, its my 2nd year as a hunter, now im trying to teach my 13yr old son how to hunt and that there's more life and adventure than being behind a tv screen haha
Thanks Nick :) I certainly can't claim the glory for most of the footage as it was sampled from a bunch of talented creators videos. But I'm glad you got something out of the video.
Hi Brian, first up thank you for your encouragement. It's always appreciated :) you're a good.man. Secondly, yes the club membership is available for South Australians. We have a bunch of members in SA. In fact we are getting a bunch of SA members together for a hunt I'm thr high country later in November if your keen to meet some other local hunters 😀
Halo Chris, saya ingin tahu, jenis apakah yg disebut 'rusa' di Australia? Apakah timorensis? Karena kata 'deer' dalam bahasa Indonesia berarti 'rusa', dan ini merujuk pada semua jenis rusa yang ada. Semoga chanelmu berkembang. Salam dari Indonesia
Greetings from Australia. We have 6 different species of deer in Australia, all introduced from various parts of the world. And yes, one of them is called 'Rusa' which is the Indonesian word for deer. We however use this word to just talk about the Rusa species of deer, not as a word which describes all deer in Australia. Its actually a species that comes from in and around Indonesia i believe. We also have another varient of Rusa that comes from elsewhere. I've actually filmed a video about the different species of deer in Australia here if you are interested in watching it and learning more: ruclips.net/video/Ej4CzKTmMb8/видео.html
I came up with a real Australian name for it's wild deer, I had been wanting to call them "CERNUNAROOS", it's a hybrid word from a Celtic mythological figure Cernunnos to Kangaroo.
Haha, well at least thank you for commenting and share your thoughts. Not sure if you will fit into our community here though. We are a pretty positive bunch.

Salam satu hobi. Saya masih pemula minta alat pemanggil rusa sambatnya dong
For Sambar you can try a Flexmark caller. For fallow bucks during the rut you can try a caller that makes the "croaking" sound.
Fuck. this is epic info. Its straight up cheat codes.
HAHA. That's great. Glad you got something out of it. Doesn't give you GOD mode, but a little bit of knowledge can sure help.
@@Thehuntsmanshow If I need godmode I'm probably in a bit deep...

Haha. That's weird. I love it.
Gave a thumbs down because your word enunciation is poor. And if you could talk any faster it would help.
