I usually use grafting tape (looks like Buddy tape), parafilm and a victorinox grafting knife along with diluted rubbing alcohol to disinfect the knife. By the way, I just got my seacrest and orange sherbert scions yesterday in the mail. Thanks! I put them in a ziplock bag with a moist napkin and put it in the vegetable drawer of my fridge. Gonna graft them this Friday afternoon, so it should only be around 4 days old if you cut them off the tree on Monday before shipment.
I have some grafting experience but I will watch all future episodes. I have seen you prepare scion wood by cutting leaves in advance. Can you explain the method and its rational?
If you are close enough to come buy it from our nursery we sell full and partial rolls of the buddy tape we use. If not, you might try here: www.amleo.com/budding-tape-perforated-1-x-2-3-4-x-192/p/BT25?mkwid=|dc&pcrid=&pkw=&pmt=&plc=&kc=&prd=BT25&slid=&prd=BT25&pgrid=&ptaid=&gad_source=1
The one state that if it were to be independent it would be in the top 6 wealthiest countries in the world. By the way the majority of the residents are Hispanic.
We are going to try to have one ship date for CA next season. Shipping scions to California requires inspections in Florida and California, so it will take more time on both ends.
Love your video thank you so much

Best to keep the scions at room temp. They are Tropical’s and don’t like cold!
