With the disarray in the Griz program when he took over, it's an absolute miracle they/he won this game. I liked Bob Stitt and thought he had a decent game plan, he just couldn't recruit well in the northwest and this hurt him in the next few years. Regardless it was a great win. Also he usually hung his defense out to dry too many times with the fast paced offense and too many three and outs. No huddle offenses are a double edged sword.

Gustafson was not a consistently good QB and Stitt was an awful hire. I was at this game and yeah it was awesome. But man, what a brutal season and the rest of the “Stitt era.”

His best game was his first, it was all downhill from there, after this 2015 season he went back to back no playoffs

Stitt was lucky there was no game film on him, horrible hire, he got his in the playoffs against the Bison
and it was all downhill from there for the Griz... they seemed to get worse by the week after that
