Sewing Hakama inspired trousers - My first sewing project

Here's my first ever video on RUclips. It's about my first real sewing project, I've made a basic summer shirt with short sleeves before and a lot of drafts to train. I've been sewing for 3 months in between the classes and exams. I can gladly present to you my first piece of clothing entirely made by myself. I learned to draw a basic trousers pattern and then changed it into the pattern used in this video. I'm extremely happy about the final result! Down below is a little more information about my channel
Hey! I'm a Belgian physics student and have a lot of passions and hobby's like photography, sewing, cooking, fashion, makeup, mangas and much more. I created this channel in the first place to have a place to keep all my fun projects.
I just post random videos about things I like making or showing, maybe you can find something you like who knows :)

The trousers look great. I love the idea. I wish you would explain more about the pattern though. Did you convert an existing pattern? Did you drafted it yourself? Good luck with your channel! :D

@@dorota1504 Thank you! Basically I learned to draft with the videos of Cornelius Quiring, which you can easily find on ytb. In the first place I learned to draw normal trousers and sewed a test piece. Next I altered the pattern until I found what I liked most (I took inspiration from Pinterest and Google). I sewed three trousers before starting the ones from the video. I never knew that I would post my video here, else I would’ve start filming at the very first stage of the process which is drafting. Next sewing project will cover much more of the real work before sewing the final garment.

I also asked for the pattern because I know this is what people are interested in on sewing channels when they see something they like.

@@quartztz thanks! I learned to draft with the videos of Cornelius Quiring (you can easily find his channel on ytb). I learned to draw basic trousers and then I modified it until I liked the results. I searched some inspo on google and Pinterest. I also made a few trousers as a test before sewing with the fabric you see in the video. I hope that helps
