- A look at Ichetucknee Springs Campground in Fort White, Florida. This is a private pay campground very close to Ichetucknee Springs State Park. This a great place to camp and visit the state park. I highly recommend kayaking down the Ichetucknee Springs River. Visiting in the off season gives a much more genuine experience.

I normally don't stay at private campgrounds. But this looks like a great place. Yeah...I could see myself staying here 1 night for the relaxed ambiance, shower, visiting the animals, the nice campsites and quiet. Thanks for sharing this.
One night is not enough. It takes at least 3 to detox and soak up the good vibes
Booked a site at a private "camp ground" last summer. Drove over an hour to get there and my site was basically the front lawn of a mobile home (and surrounded by 5-6 others). I went right back to the site office, got my money back and left. This one I would stay at though.
Always love each and every video bud, but I think this one is way up on my short list of favorites. God bless and stay safe.

Nice that the park is low key. There are plenty of “resorts” for the big buses. Good to see a relaxed place.
One time I stayed at a place which had sheep. A few animals visiting adds to the fun!

I totally bought a Native American cedar flute from a local maker because of you and your intro/outro song and when you used to play it back in the day.
That area has good energy. Wild orchids grow in clumps high up in the trees with tiny yellowish flowers the size smaller than a dime. Those are a treat to find in the summer

Ichetucknee - now there's a name that looks tricky but rolls off the tongue surprisingly easily, love it . Loved seeing the animals especially the little piglet, who couldn't love one of those :)

it gets VERY busy in the summer and it gets LOUD
That's one of Floridas great Gems but there are others too. The trip down river is awesome. They are very strict there from what I remember. No smoking, no glass bottles or beer or any food on the trip down. U have to take water in ur own container. No water bottles and so forth.
Beautiful and very peaceful campground, you and Kelly should plan a kayak trip down the Suwannee River. There is a great outfitter in White Springs, Florida. They are American Canoe Adventures, really awesome couple that runs it. They offer several different packages. Last year me and Julie kayaked with a group, we started at White Springs and ended up in the Gulf of Mexico. We camped out every night and along the way the state has constructed little cabins just for the kayakers and then every two days the outfitters would bring food supplies out to us because there is no Walmart close buy.....

What a beautiful grand old oak tree. And the calf was precious. Is he a rescue? Hard to raise off bottle-feeding but best of luck to them. I enjoyed seeing all the sights of the campground. Thank you for taking us on a tour. 😎

I payed the campground a visit in Nov 2020, very nice people. This is the closest campground to Ichetucknee State park.
