I really enjoyed this video and the explanations of pairing and using it properly. I’m new to the field, and I was thinking to myself about how long the pairing is. Every company is different of course, but the company should also do it for 2-3 days then start with the demands or programs. The field is fun and I love it but it can be boring if all we are doing is pairing 24/7 without an actually meaning like demands or prompting a program to really see how they will react. Thank you!
I concur, with a new kiddo pairing should not go beyond 2 sessions. In the beginning of a session pairing with a child for one to two minutes is so important as it makes them feel comfortable and kind of gives us an idea as to how the session is going to be based on the child's disposition.
