Cena already said during that same press conference that he is not going to turn heel, he wants to keep it genuine and he can't force something that he is not
Hes likely telling the Truth, but it would be really, really, REALLY shocking if it's a swerve and he DOES. I sorta treat these press conferences as a new story telling method, that sorta adapts to people having easy access to behind the scenes info, leaks, and other stuff that people didn't have knowledge about back then.
In other words, expect him to be a face, but its not entirely impossible that it will happen

There is actually a bit of lore behind Wade taking shots at CM Punk. Wade was the leader of The Nexus once upon a time, and CM Punk totally usurped him in leadership. So lingering bitterness could logically follow from that.

Mid card titles also gives midcarders to main event title defenses on raw and smack down, making world title defenses on PLEs more impactful. PLEs will start being 2 nights so Midcard titles can be defended on those PLEs if the storylines are good enough

The women's mid card championships need a different name then just the Women's "Intercontinental" Championship and Women's "United States" Championship

Nxt Europe should have happened years ago
It's a terrible idea, and there are two big reasons for that. First, there is not enough screen time for so many championships, so the product will be rushed, dragged, or skipped. Second, women only have a couple of big names that people care about, so the mid-card will be irrelevant just like the woman tag team.
On the other hand, this can force WWE to make better use of their time in order to try to get the women mid card over. I think they can make it work
The tv time is an issue but with having mid cars belts this make them have to put those woman on tv also they’re women fans care about that can easily fight for the mid card
You can’t expect fans to cheer to people when they don’t get tv time the more they show on tv the more fans will get use to them and decide who they want to see
Time for a 3rd Main Roster show, I think. Wednesday's are boring anyhow.

Bad Blood had the first ever Hell in a Cell between HBK and Undertaker, where Kane debuted. Also, if I'm not mistaken, the final Bad Blood had HBK vs HHH also in Hell in a Cell.
We did get iconic matches from bad blood the first ever hell in a cell match and kanes debut was at bad blood

I think John turning heel at mania would be insane then the next year he sorta goes on a redemption until turning face again and then retiring. I don’t think retiring as a heel would work and having him suddenly be nice when he retires is weird too. So massive massive pop when he turns at mania. WWE would be on fire every week as everyone would wanna hear from heel John. He gets a big realization at summer slam then spends the rest of the time maybe feuding w randy would be the face. In terms of iconic Bad Blood matches, the first couple that come to mind are the main events of the first and last. Shawn Michaels vs Undertaker (first ever cell match and Kane's debut). And Shawn Michaels vs Triple H (longest ever cell match and the ending to their 2 year rivalry).

The fact that NXT got a secondary women's title is great, which makes room for the main roster, I feel that this era in WWE is going really good so far. The Bloodline stuff the dom, liv, and reah stuff, drew/punk FYEEEEE not to mention NXT/TNA crossovers. *chef kiss*

I would love to see the Divas championship coming back as a midcard title, the only issue would be the lineage and thus making all the old main title holders like AJ into midcard holders, I hope they bring something similar with a similar name so it will have that vibe but won't get people confused about the status.

I totally agree that everyone on the AEW Roster almost feels at an equal level, and to be honest I do think it’s cause the amount of titles they have. No title has prestige, not to say they don’t have excellent title matches but no title win really feels like that stepping stone in AEW

I’m okay with one mid card women’s belt, but two is to many. They havent even had Bayley defending her belt at PLEs, even Liv hasn’t been on a PPV, sort that first

I would generally agree that WWE has relatively small number of women you could crown a world champion out of nowhere (aka Becky, Charlotte, Bianca, Bayley(?), Rhea). Then there are several that can feel prestigious when given a build up. So yes, picking a new believable champion when a world champion is vacant can be a problem. But! WWE won't have this problem with mid-card. So many great women in their roster(s) that could be mid-card champ

I don't want to see Cena turning heel. I think it's too late for that. I love Cena and would love to see him just being a real as possible with his last run.
Not only women who aren’t ready for the world title can get the midcard belt, but women who ARE ready for the belt and just aren’t getting that opportunity should win these midcard belts. Candice, Michin, Zelina, Piper, Naomi, Shayna, all of these women deserve a big singles push and just aren’t getting them in favor of other women(who do deserve their push as well) and in favor of more men on tv. These belts allow more women storylines to be on tv, and in really exciting for their introduction!
John Cena as a heel manager would be amazing
Honestly it would be cool if WWE just ran the Evolution PPV again. Sure it would be just one night but it would be really cool to just see all women go all out defending all the titles on that show. Idk why they got rid of it. They could find some other moments within TV programming to defend their championships and get more screen time even though it won’t be too frequent.

I think now is the perfect time to introduce mid card women's titles the division is packed to the brim with talent and its hard to book the title scene without bloating it with to many players.

More opportunities for the ladies, about time. I don't think it will devalue the original Intercontinental and United States Titles, those belts are stronger than ever since Triple H took over the booking. And he's smart enough to not allow the titles to decline.
They could introduce the "Women's Television Championship" that could be defined in both RAW & SmackDown instead of bringing two secondary titles.

Women’s division been on fire this year sometimes their matches are even better than the men’s matches, maybe with these new belts it’ll help establish new stars that maybe aren’t ready for the world title
In theory, that’s exactly what it would do. And I think they should definitely introduce the belts. Problem is tv time. They struggle to get both women’s world titles meaningful rivalries, so that would be my only worry.

Makes sense, just look at the womens division in 6 months, Vaquer, Giulia, Roxanne Perez, Cora Jade, J Grace TNA´s contract ends in January, thats 5 great names that could be in the main roster, plus the returns of Charlotte, Becky, Rhea, Alexa, Asuka, maybe M Rodriguez. You add those names to what we have right now and his the most stacked womens roster ever.
Yep Ethan Page is a really talented dude but he really didn't get used in aew. I am so happy that he finally get to show what he is capable of. Also Greatone you should really watch NXT. It's really cool too see all the new talent learn their way up. Heatwave was a banger maybe even better than MITB.

My reasoning for why JC should've turned heel was that his promos were very heel-like. He used his elevated status to go off-script and often broke 4th wall to "bury" an opponent (I believe the intention was to be funny rather than intentionally make the other person look stupid but still). And the fact his opponents were often right and justified in their heel promos didn't help either (Edge, Miz, ...)
JC doesn't do that much anymore. I mean the canned reactions comment with Theory... But apart from that, he feels like babyface
I think we wouldn't see the midcard titles until Wrestlemania where we would probably have 2 matches for it on PLEs which either it'd be that or Day One: Netflix
