How you treat your horses is why I love to watch you ride. You never take it out on your horse. You own your mistakes and learn from them. He looks so fit!
Man that was one of the most confusing course rides you've ever taken us on! Crazy hard at times to tell which jump we needed to jump. And wooo boy that skinny came up FAST. Saw you pull up on the livestream after 6 & had no clue what was going on--so thanks for the explanation! Good Boy Sharpie.
Good ride on a very long and challenging course in tough weather conditions. The jump markings did leave something to be desired (small, color- challenged and they could rotate in the wind). Just finished watching the 3* short and jump 10 A/B combo ate everyone alive (most refusals/eliminations/retirements I've seen at a jump). Sharpie handled the water well (lots of other horses didn't fare so well). Get'em next time.
It was often after a bad ride that I got frustrated. Those rides where I can’t seems to find a distance, or when my horse and I just aren’t in the same mindset. But with every negative thought comes a chance to change it! I aspire to be like you, moving on and tackling the next fence -figuratively or literally!!
I've watched a couple of your course videos and my small brain cannot tell what jump you're supposed to jump or what way the track goes sdjdks where??!
12:16 are you using the Myler D ring with Hooks as a gag? How have you found that to work? I have a strong horse and I’m looking for a stronger bit XC but I like the myler mouth pieces...
Brilliant thank you so much!!!!! (I usually ride with two reins if I use a gag or Pelham or whatever anyway) I’ve never seen this done and really think it could work for me
I’d much rather that Sharpie get confused at a two-star fence than a three-star fence, so it’s all good. Now you know what to work on before moving up.
What breed is sharp? Because he looks like he has a lot of Arabian in there. His forehead has a mild dish and he recovered so fast and his legs are so straight in front..
@@kaseyenright3872 if anyone wants to breed to an Arabian with the same lines as the foundation sires of Thoroughbreds, let me know. I know of ou one stallion left with that pedigree.

That was a tougher day at the office. That course was way way too narrow, the guide ropes are just ridiculous.
Really respect your handling of confusion! Well done , that looked like a mess of a course, to be honest.
Good sportsmanship. Nice to see you didn't immediately blame Sharp like lesser people would.
Does anybody else remember when she did this with Johnny Back in the old days?
She still does! :)
5:15 is my favourite jump of the whole course. i think you both saw that long!❤️
Sharpie flys when you let him, do his feet even touch the ground?
Omg what a route! It seemed endless!!
Well done to both of you! You are a great team!
I had seen your run on the feed. I was really looking forward to this.
He is learning all the time. I still think he will be a super star.
it seemed like a tough course on a rough day, youll get it next time!
Way to overcome and then find your rhythm again. Keeping your heads in the course.

What a trooper Sharpe is, he did really well. We all make mistakes, but you put them right. Well done and thank you for posting.

Always love seeing Lainey! Imagine a world full of Laineys as your cheerleader at the show.
So fun watching your ride and even more fun listening in on the conversation after. Your wonderful!!!!
Sharpie! An educational cross-country round for sharpie. More chevron practice for sharpie.
7:19 my favourite jump, it looked like he just caught so much airtime and so comfortably
It was so cool getting to see you!

Great job.

Works better with two reins because he can be a mix of sensitive and strong. He seems to really like the mouth piece.

Awesome vid! Love all your vids great job and keep it up
What does the tape on the nose do?? Always wonderd
Iero Lero its like a nostril strip to help open the airway, lots of eventers/racers use em
Worst Course EVER!
You both kept your cool 😎👍
Absolutely brilliant! #gosharpie 😍

I love this.❤️
Good boy !!
That was a confusing course...good job!!
Where’s Johnny??
G G I think he had an injury and had to take a year off? I’m not quite sure so I may be wrong xx
What speed was she going?
He* 🙄
@@grace.1 I posted this comment almost a year ago. I did not know Sharpies gender.
@@Rae-ef8st if you listened she actually said “good boy” many times :)
@@grace.1 Still doesn't give you a right at ALL to come at me. How was I supposed to know if I didn't even watch the whole video?
@@grace.1 why are you so pressed over him accidentally mis gendering a fucking horse🗿
What kind of bridle is he wearing, anyone? :-)
Some days ...
Gosh I think they ran out of course ideas! That skinny came up quick even on the GoPro. Definitely one of the weirdest courses I’ve seen.
