"Stacking" the Ribcage on top of the Pelvis

- RobertsonTraini... I've gotten a lot of questions lately about stacking the ribcage on the pelvis.
Two questions in particular come to mind:
1 - What the heck does it mean to "stack" the ribcage on the pelvis? And
2 - Why is it important?
In this short video, I describe not only what it means to stack the ribcage on top of the pelvis, but give you ideas on how to do it as well. Enjoy!

Thank you. I cant squat well and someone told me to do this but I couldn’t ever get it right no more knee and hip pain when squatting!

I think that all these demonstrations should be done with a tight shirt or no shirt. This is obscured, Mike.
would be easier to see what you are talking about if he was in a leotard, the tee shirt covers up what you are talking about
you should have done a video showing the action of lifting the weight and breathing.... do i hold my breath or breathe in and out as I move the weights up and doing??

Great info, better lighting and the demonstrator going shirtless or a tight white shirt would be a better visual. I understand the concept so I understood what was being said but to someone unfamiliar with the concept, they'd be a lot lost.
my rib and pelvis arent stacked properly how can i fix this
i have a question about the rib/pelvis stacking. how do you fix the rib/pelvis from interconnecting to each other?' At times very painful like interlocking your fingers & having to pry apart making a popping sound. how would you stack the 2 to fix this? Thank you.

All I can see is a man standing there hate these sorts of videos when trying to show how the body looks then being fully clothed showing it duh 🙄
