since a year or so my huawei y ii, is telling me I have a storage problem of the 16 gb there is only 512kb left, I have no pictures , no videos on it, and only 4 apps on my phone I delete all other apps. Do you have a solution how to move my apps to the SD card. Hope you can help me out. Greeting form a Dutch person.

It is a great shame that you can't move APPS. Apps are the zeitgeist now and to only be able to add so many Apps before the storage runs out is poor business practice. Apps SELL and advertise, so the more we install the merrier. It's seem like poor business logic, particularly from the usually advanced and erudite Huawei. We have the same experience. I put the storage of the photos on SD card, and the pictures always corrupt. I have to bring the storage to internal again,
I had to change the sd for another as it seems the other card was corrupt. (Dont buy online like I did). So now im pleased to share that no more corruption. Hope this helps someone. Cheers

I guess it is beacause the speed of the internal HDD is usually more fast then on SD cards. So the performance is better. And next to, as earlier your internal storage is full, as earlier you can buy a new (Huawei) phone.

Hey Charmie. I am really sorry. I do not have the Huawei 5II and no phone with EMUI 3.1 (OS of the Y5II). But basically you can download a file explorer at the Play Store. It is working in the same way. Best of luck :-)

How to transfer it
Hey John. With Huawei Phones it is not possible actually. You can just set up the SD card as default storage. But it is not recommended.

To move the apps to sd card. You have to first make sure you go into settings then storage. Make sure your internal storage is switched to Sd card. Then uninstall the apps from your phone. Then re download them and then it should automatically go into your sd card.

Yup that's the only way. Follow the instructions I have just done and it should work. Its pretty simple go into storage and switch it. Once that's done you are sussed
