the "Penn-" part from Pennsylvania comes from William Penn, and the "-sylvania" part means land of the forests

I would like to know yinz story behind the WHiskey Rebellion. Most of the US view the event as an example of Washington's power. But from what I read, Washington was doing the same acts on Pennsylvanians as the Brits were doing on the colonies. WHat made you fight for succession in 1791-1794.
We have Philly, Harrisburg, the Poconos, Lake Erie, Wawa, Sheetz, The Phillies, The Steelers, The Pirates, AND we're the 6th most populated state in the country. Pennsylvania= Best State Everrrrrr. ♥ End of story.
