All I can say is, from a long term at3w user (10x sets) the at4w is good to go in the snow. Better in deeper and slushier snow. A little less grippy on super slick dusty snow. But overall, it feels more confident, especially off road in snow

I've had BFG All terrain T/As before the k02. They were really good. Had 3 sets. Went to a general grabber a/t. Wasn't impressed with the handling. I'm definitely looking forward to trying the k03. It looks like it has more sipping and sharper tread blocks. Good for snow and slush. My plan is to put a rough country 2 1/2 inch leveling kit with upper control arms and new rear shocks on and getting the BFG in a 275-65 on an 18 inch rim for my 2016 GMC Sierra.

Disclaimer: I have ran BFGs for years on everything from lifted diesels to FJ40s without any problems, so when I lifted my 4Runner it was pretty much a no-brainer to go with a brand I trust. Been running the KO3s in 285/70/17 on my ‘23 TRD Pro 4Runner for a couple of months now and love them. They’re a big improvement over the stock Terra Grapplers. Highly recommended.

Had a set of KO2’s. Rated for 80,000kms (same as KO3) realistically lasted only 60,000 before it was worn past the siping cuts, thus making them absolutely suck in snow.
Went with Dynapro AT2, siping cuts go all the way to the end of the tread… so actually got a bit more than the rated 100,000kms out of them.
Currently have AT2 “10 plys” on both my Tacoma and af-150. I’ll need to hear from my tire shop who sells both how the much more expensive KO3 holds up.
Should note, I loved everything about the KO2 except the durability.
