This is just what I needed to hear today.

It is so frustrating (and telling!) how Dr Timimi must couch everything he says so as not to offend anyone who has bought into psychiatric lies perpetuated by experts in the field. It is so much evidence of how corrupt psychiatry/psychology is compared to every other medical field. Why must WE be the ones to always walk on eggshells? Why don't the abusers ever have to walk on eggshells?

Because we don’t have control of the money.

@@boplo1 Yes. I understand we are forced to play the games of the oppressors. I'm a psychiatric nurse who can no longer work in the field and maintain my integrity. I had my own psychiatric crisis brought on by medication and misdiagnosis. It's the only thing that woke me up to how the system betrays us all. I was a firm believer in psych meds until I experienced my own crisis. How do we prove the abuse to those who haven't been on both sides of the psychiatric hospital bed?

@@tarasierralee Psychiatry is moral abuse and to recover from it one must become counter-culture. As simple and difficult as that.

Psychological injury is a more realistic way to describe things.
