  • This time were surface fishing for estuary perch on the Brodribb River Marlo in Victoria estuary opposite the Snowy River. The next stop in our east Gippsland fishing trip brings us to Marlo an amazing estuary fishing destination home to the Vic bream classic and Hobie kayak bream series. Where we chase bream, estuary perch, flathead and tailor at the Marlo Jetty, Brodribb river and Snowy river.
The weather isn't kind and we battle hard but with persistence comes the rewards as we land some amazing fish including a PB estuary perch flicking soft plastics, shallow hardbody lures and surface lures.
Follow Alan's awesome fishing adventures by land, kayak, boat & jet ski with lures & bait to catch local saltwater, freshwater, and estuary fish species. The channel is fun, relatable, and features world class fishing action and tips.

Thanks mate !!! Yeah 100% I think the whole trip away was a massive learning curve. Learning about the areas, the different forms of fishing and how to adjust to the elements is something we will both grow and learn from. Some good memories along the way. Hopefully this was a taste of things to come over the next 24 months.

Yeah its a ripping destination, we spent more time trying to find spots out of the wind rather than fishing so im keen to go back soon and fish the areas we really wanted to. Thanks !!

Looks like a magic place to fish with a myriad of options mate. Sadly, you can't predict the weather. You'll have to go back there again one day.

100% agree was an awesome place. Would love to go back and spend a few good days there during calm weather and really fish near the entrance and along the islands. Hopefully will do in the not to distant future.

Hi Allan, is the last beach you went Mott's beach? I haven't seen that path you walked and the little bridge but it looks similar to Mott's, neat the mouth of the snowy
