Hello Sir! I am a student and I am very confused with a math problem. I am from India. Here is the problem
1/2÷1/3×3/4 divided by 1/2÷1/3of3/4. The problem here is the denominator part. The numerator comes out to be 9/8. But the denominator will be 2 or 9/8 ? Aren't 'of' and multiplication the same? Or should we consider solving 'of' first then divide so that the denominator comes out to be 2? So the final answer will be 1 or 9/16?? Please help! I hope u reply!
    Thanks.

Here are three mind blowing answers to the question: what is math good for depending on the profile of the student
    1. For a student who does not necessarily to aspire to pursue in the field of mathematics
Regardless of the job you willl do, you will be paid for one thing and one thing only. That thing is solving problems. That's exactly what math is. It is the science of solving problems. The problems we solve are not interesting at all but it is the technique that we use and the effect they have on your brain that are valuable. You can think of it like a push up. On paper it is stupid. It is probably the least effective way to get up from the ground. However it is a technique that allows to grow muscle and use them in various aspects of life

      2. For a student who wants to work in engineering or industry
Mathematics is the strongest tool we have at our disposal to solve real world problems. You can take almost any problem a company faces , turn it into an optimization problem, solve the optimization problem and then translate the result into a real and applicable solution.

      3. For a student who is interested in research and science development
Mathematics is a reality in and of itself. It is a world of beauty and harmony where every objects fits in its place. As a mathematician you get to be the explorer of this world and show the way to humanity in places never visited before
