Just as an idea: when the Z-fighters wish back everyone killed by Cell, the Dragon says the catch is for Goku’s life. And if Freiza wishes for immortality then the catch is his potential.

@@surajsridhar1701 No, I don't think it would be the case since Monaito is creating the dragon from scratch and the powers of the Dragon Balls aren't passed down to by the other Namekians. Think it like Dende recreating Shenron, Shenron was stronger and he granted 3 wishes instead of one and it didn't have a time limit (cap) but Dendes Dragon Balls were the same so yeah. (doesn't even relate to the comment in the top)
This battle came out better then I was expecting. I thought as soon as Vegeta rip Goku and Raditz's tail out, and Vegeta became a Great Ape they were done for, but luckily Monaito can use his Dragon Balls whenever. Although now with Earth on Frieza's radar this will be a big problem. I'm hoping this where Gohan get involved in fighting since they will need more help here, and the only one with a Tail left since the Great Ape Form could help against Frieza and his Forces. Anyways another really good part, and looking forward to the next part soon.
My question is, is the drawback of the 2 dragonballs that it always takes something for bigger wishes, or was it that the wish was so extreme that the only way of granting it was by compressing the power he'd have in his life?
Further, would Monaito be able to upgrade the balls as he himself improves, eventually making more balls and/or mitigating the drawbacks of the wishes?

It is when you take a franchise that you like, but you are aware of some fundamental flaws in it and try to rewrite things like the lore, characters, continuity, and other stuff that you think needs some improvements.
For example, Namek is more than just a wasteland and instead has a culture of nature-loving magicians with advanced technology.

That would just be too easy. Monaito isn’t a fighter, and he doesn’t like using the Dragon Balls much for selfish reasons anyways

AYYYYE, THIS SHIT SHMACK HARD.
So i just thought about this but if Kami and Monaito swapped places then Kami in cereal would've never had to split himself since he never aimed to be the guardian of the planet. Meaning he would've been way stronger than all the saiyans there and would've killed them all, meaning Bardock's dead and Goku wouldn't have been sent off planet.
If this didn't happen then it would've meant that Kami did split himself and he was probably killed in the attack of the saiyans because he would've tried to fuse himself with king piccolo since it was an emergency, meaning no granolah arc here.

Will we have a Ginyu force for good? I think Captain Ginyu will really die after trying to switch bodies with Raditz, but, Goku defeats him, the other members knowing that defeat means death redeem themselves, one more advantage, Goku has the room of time and space , he may also wish his friends to have all their hidden potentials released, in fact I believe that monaito had this idea at the time of the invasion, I also see the Namekians having to resort to a super-fusion to defeat Frieza. Sad but I think Monaito will die, and the others, better another super-fusion namek warrior will die, however, luck or bad luck Kami / Piccolo will be alive on another planet.
I think here Raditz and Launch can happen, but not like the other what if (you know who I'm talking about). Now, Launch should be here in this story, and use the spheres to split into two, one blonde and one with blue hair, one of which would fall in love with Vegeta and the other with Raditz. Yes, Vegeta and Bulma DOES NOT HAPPEN because Yamcha is still alive and trains at CC under Bulma's influence, so he spends more time together and less hitting on other women.
