My charger and charger port had 2 burned pins and did not charge anymore. Changed my battery as well after 8 years of service. Cost me about 120€ but will get me through some more years. Thanks for the video!
I have a similar issue I checked the battery status and showz is normal ? And there is no issue with it but on my battery tab it says “Power source: power adapter Battery is not charging “ . What could the issue be ? I reset the SMC and nothing changed it stays at 1% and it I unplug it it’ll turn off right away . I’m thinking to chnage the Dc port by putting the one of another same model MacBook I have and see if that’s the issue
@@EasyFixLaptop Could you test it with a voltmeter at the battery connection, where the battery ribbon plugs in. If it’s getting voltage there would the dc charging port be ok?
Simple!! Thank you!!! Mine is not charging and I thought it was my battery or charger. I’m gonna get a new charger too cuz my charger looks burned too. I’m turning my laptop off at night from now on. That’s probably what caused it.
i spilled milk tea on my macbook, same model and had the i/o left board and flex cable replaced but now the battery won’t charge and the power adapter will only power it but not charge it after a while? how is this problem occurring if the i/o board and flex cable were replaced d

How did you know that the problem was the DC charging port? How did you diagnose that?
I tested the battery with another MacBook, which was working just fine.
