As you may already know, Miller played at Woodstock in 1969 with the Keef Hartley Band. I hope those in charge of next year's 50th are inviting this amazing musician back.
He will be playing in Bremen at the Meisenfrei april 10. As a tribute to Woodstock he wil play the same setlist. Miller Anderson war Mitglied der Keef Hartley Band, von T.Rex, Savoy Brown, Chicken Shack und Mountain. Er spielte ebenso mit und bei Blood Sweat & Tears, Donovan, Mountain, Jon Lord & the Gemini Band, The Spencer Davis Group oder Roger Chapman. Er trat beim legendären Woodstock-Festival auf. Und genau dieses Festival bringt den schottischen Ausnahme-Gitarristen, Sänger und Songwriter zu uns auf die Bühne. Denn heute Abend spielt Miller zum fünfzigsten Jahrestag des Woodstock-Festivals das Originalprogramm, das er am 16. August 1969 in Woodsstock mit der Keef Hartley Band aufgeführt hat! Außerdem präsentiert die Band stolz die aktuelle CD „Live in Vienna“. Freunde erstklassiger Blues- und Rockmusik sollten sich dieses Datum fett im Kalender markieren! (20Uhr - AK 24,-)

@@woutervuijk6796 Oh well.. he played some of the songs, but not the complete Woodstock setlist. However, I had a great time at a real cosy bluesclub with a great performance by Miller Anderson and his band. Enjoyed every minut of the show.

Shelley , Millers interviews have him saying Woodstock was NO FUN & they never got filmed nor recorded due to money screw ups between the promoters & Hartley's manager. but folks in the crowd di manage to get some recorded on Cassette tape. Miller has no fond memories of Woodstock & i doubt he would go back on his own when even at the top of his game with Keef, well they plain got screwed.
