The good: General office work, data analysis, FAANG level software programming, photo editing, low-end video editing, and retro gaming. Also, an excellent gen 4 SSD and adjustable RAM. No need to change SSD after purchasing the mini-PC. The bad: High-end video editing and gaming above 60 fps on 1080p resolution. High graphics games it will struggle to hit 30 FPS on 1080 resolution settings due to the bad integrated GPU. RAM speeds are only DDR4, but you can adjust them to compensate.
Really interested in an egpu setup, for video games but also AI. Would be awesome to see a review or short video of suggested hardware for this. The RTX 3060 is a great option, but a quality and cost-effective case/dock/PSU is no longer obvious. Love your channel.
Oculink is currently the best way to attach an eGPU. I go over the port and dock in this video ruclips.net/video/P6EINIalPa0/видео.html. I have another mini with an Oculink port coming soon. If I get some time, might do a video guide on using Oculink or USB4/TB4.
Go into My PC, right click the C drive and go to properties and permissions.... make sure you don't see "unknown user" Unknown Account" with full permission added. Seem to be one thing off with the minis.
The metal case is nice, and the nvme performance is much better than in so many minis where the system is PCI 4, but the nvme card is mediocre gen 3. But it pretty much ends there: Ineffective CPU cooling, and with that annoying abrupt change in speed, too locked down BIOS, etc. And honestly, I'm out of patience with the sticky feet, esp given the price point. Rob, your attempts to be fair and balanced just can't make up for this.
@@DiceAir Yep! The prices are high but even worse, this mini very high temperature and power consumption without having top performance. Especially the graphics department is bad...
Thank you for reviewing our product. Your thoughts on GEEKOM products are precious to us!
Why don't manufacturers just drill a hole thru the feet for the screw ? It's almost common sense.
Yep, was solved with the original NUC in 2013. I don't know how we end up going backward.
I appreciate and value all your reviews. You always do a thorough review but hardware and performance wise. Thanks
Thanks for another detailed review. I'm looking forward to your review of a mini PC with a Snapdragon chip in it.

900 for it is wild
Would you think the GT13 Pro would be good for 96Khz multi audio track streaming using Presonus Studio One?
There's no excuse for GEEKOM to not make Xeon and Threadripper mini PCs. In deep n(outer) space, nothing overheats until it goes super nova.
😆
So far, Intel says that the 13900h is not affected. 🍿🍿🍿
hope geekom doesn't regret that 3 year warranty
The mobile chips don't run on crazy voltages like the desktop ones.
And 7940hs was released over a year ago...

What a garbage mini! 😂
Thanks for the review!
Geekom in general is not as good as the other due to price.
