Thank you for your appreciation, Rita! ☺️ I have studio training since my teenage years, drawing and painting still-life with pencils and watercolors, guided by a master. So I had fundamental skills before drawing directly with pen in my sketchbook.
Hi, Becky-My partner and I are thinking about doing an AirBandB in Mt. Vernon, Washington, during the summer/fall (July, Sept) to avoid the heat and smoke (in the event of fires around here) in Reno, Nevada. I saw that we would only be 2 hours from Vancouver-and we maybe could do an overnight trip there. What would you charge to meet me one-on-one to sketch? I would love to give you a hug in person (since during this whole pandemic, you have been one of the few things that I look forward to each day to see if you have posted a new sketch and give me inspiration). I know-this sounds really sappy-but I am old-72 and realize that I need to do what makes me happy..and seeing and sketching with you in person would make me happy. Thanks in advance for reading……..We don’t have anything planned yet-and knowing Scott, everything is pretty tentative……

But that remains a dream as I live hundreds of miles away separated by land and vast seas and oceans ! I am from Malta , so not close at all ! You’re very game going into a cafe and drawing and painting-away like nobody’s business. It’s almost like getting up and singing. However, among all the dross on RUclips, there’s a bit of gold, disguised as watercoloring around Vancouver. 👍
I noticed you're buying different ready to use watercolor paints, why don't you buy them in tubes to fill in the colors that you used up? Watercolor paints aren't used all equally, you must used up some completely, and some not so much. Or you just like go try out new brands?
