    Have you ever tried to learn a language through sleep or other alternative methods? Some of the wildest methods I’ve seen are from the Navy SEALs which we explored here: ruclips.net/video/IWhhSe9T1Dc/видео.html

    So this is more like a language learning EXP boost. You wont gain exp from it, but it boosts what you get. You wont learn new words, but youll retain better what you already learned that day.
    Interesting 🤔

    • @JerryRegistre
      @JerryRegistre  6 месяцев назад +5

      That's a good summary. This all assumes that the learner does it right without hurting their sleep, which is very tricky.

    I think your best bet is to learn as much of a language while you’re awake and then let your brain process it at night. That’s just my idea anyway.

    must be more percise if that language were learned is Hungarian or Arabic cause everyone knows Dutch is the cloest language to German. Even though the sample is small but it's not quite far than my experience on learing while sleeping.

    This is just an opinion but if you're B1-B2+ in in your target language turn on fun video playlists instead of those 8 hour annoying vocab lists that make you wake up an hour later. It's way more comfortable when you can understand half of what's said and can fall asleep to a nice story. Context clues are fun.

    You can't learn a whole language in your sleep - it's too complex. While plenty of studies have been done on sleep learning, the results have been generally inconclusive, and no one has been able to master the tricky concepts like grammar rules in their sleep. Don't be fooled.

  • @LilyIglesias
    @LilyIglesias 4 месяца назад

    I think that this only works if you know the languages a little, at least.

    The idea of learning a language while sleeping is controversial and not well supported by scientific evidence1. Some studies suggest that listening to recordings of a language during the first stages of sleep may help to strengthen the connections in the brain that are related to language learning23. However, this is not a substitute for active learning and practice, and the effectiveness of this method is unclear123.
