I can't even remember the last time I was excited about a new song, but this one here has made my day. I'd be willing to bet mainstream media is working overtime is panicking big time about this wonderful song. We lived in the big city for a long time, until some older kids in the neighborhood threatened my daughter with a beat down if she didn't give them her bicycle and she came home crying. There was also a lot of prostitution and drug abuse going on , so my wife and I moved out to the country and we love it. What Mr. Aldean is saying in this song is completely accurate.
Like Jason publicly explained, the song is saying that if the crimes shown in the Video which happen to be Acltual News Footage, were to actually take place in a small town that the people living there would come together and help each other to defend themselves until the Authorities arrived to help. That's all

I applaud Jason Aldean! His song says what many of us are thinking!!! There is absolutely nothing racist in it. It is an expression of the opinion of millions of US citizens
"It does not follow from the fact that it "is an expression of the opinion of millions of US citizens" that therefore "there's absolutely nothing racist in it". Just the opposite can be true. Support by millions for racist institutions, laws, lending practices, residential exclusion, lynchings in the vein of this song, has long been a US reality. It still is.
Are you aware that he did not write this song. Marty Robbins rocks.
And Jesus said unto them, bully strangers and let it be known through all the land your are hostile and angry at your brethren.
A true country artist who still has values. Keep it up Jason, and thank you!
We need more than one man! We need all our men to stand up! God W.a.r.r.i.o.r.s for our children! Do you know what is happening to the innocent? Horror!!!
@@daisyinthesun you are so right!!
@@daisyinthesun
yes priests, police officers, and close friends of the family are grooming them and conservatives violently defend them when they're outed.
I just found a new favorite not much into country till I heard this song!! Great Job!!!
Same here
There are a lot of country artists who have a lot of rock elements to them. Such as Willie Nelson, Elvis, Led Zeppelin, Johnny Cash, Zac Brown Band, Waylon Jennings and also Alison Krauss with her collaboration with Led Zeppelin's Robert Plant for two albums and a current three year tour which will resume next Spring or Summer.
Amen Brother 🙏 you hit right on the nose sing it loud and proud
Our national anthem is my focus.
Who cares about a song.
The thing is, some people may get mad at the song, but you can't deny that the words are true. Sucker punching people, being rude to police officers, it's all true.
@@evaeves8569 of course you can’t sucker punch someone and you can hate the police.
But, there’s bad apples in all levels of life and there’s hate on both ends. The government has done a really good job at keeping society on edge and it’s working. Yet, people go nuts for the government.
There’s good people in life.
There’s decent people in life.
There’s shitty people in life.
I care about this song. Jason is doing a great job and some people can't handle the truth!
@@kathytritt796 I’m not debating the truth.
What is a shame is when people say I care about this song.
I care about the national anthem.
F this song and could care less.
FOR ME IS AMERICA 🇺🇸.
You still have to put food on the table every day and do you think Jason will help you ? NO. He doesn’t even know you.
Beste Grüße aus Deutschland! Du sprichst uns mit diesem Lied auch aus der Seele. Glaubt nicht das, was ihr zur Zeit über uns hört. Die meisten hier sind genau so basiert wie ihr 👍
Great song !! Love it !!
Being someone who grew up and still lives on the outskirts of very small towns,...The message of this song is absolutely TRUE.
And most people know it regardless of where they are from.
Jason Aldean thank you for this song of truth and there is absolutely nothing racist about it just a fellow American saying that criminal injustice should be fixed because there's sadly to many criminals in America getting away with some bad stuff
That's some bs because, caucasians are the epitome of terrorism, racism, and everything evil. How about try it in a Black city...
Pedophiles should be dealt with too yte people
Me as a black female I see nothing wrong with the song he is just singing about everyday issues and yes we should take care of our own and what he is singing about is on point
I am from barbados this is the first time I ever listen to your music and even here we have ppl that wouldn't stay in there lane. I have learn in my life you can't plz everyone so just plz yourself as long you know you are not hurting yourself or anyone around you. Just be you and always sin from your heart and always remember you can't plz everyone.
I'm a tri racial female. First time I heard it. I like it

I’m black af and I stand by Jason the only controversial part is the court house it’s a famous lynching sighting I don’t think any famous lynching place should get any type of recognition and I know he isn’t the only artist to do so other than that love the song
Love this song!!!!
Awesome song that’s how we should all feel. This song fires me up
Can`t tell you how good it is to listen to this song. Thank you.
This is what everyone in a small town feels. Awesome song!!❤🇺🇸
And quite a few big towns.
This makes me smile and feel proud. I'm from a small town and I support this song.
This just hit me! Thanks standing up for what you believe ❤ See you in August!!
l agree with you, indeed Sam hunt is a great and
talented artist who's songs never goes out of style,
he's one of my favorites artist, he's songs still and
always heals the Soul, I pray God gives you lot of
beautiful days…
Never been much of a fan and feel he dived off that stage during the shooting never looking back. BUT...no one in the Black community spoke out against the rioting which went on for months. Not a single black person of any influence bothered to speak out against it! I have a real problem with the Black community over this. To demand reparations after the billions in damages is an outrage. Aldean video should not have been pulled.
Yeah. Thanks for standing against freedom.... Singing about forcing people to bow to the police, not protest and advocating for assault against people who don't think the same as you, right?
@@taroman7100 several influential black people spoke out against the violence. Allan West, Candace Owens, Tim Scott, Justice Thomas, Larry Elder, Thomas Sowell... We just don't hear about it from the lame stream media.

Hope he plays this in Hershey.....
Beautiful song ❤❤❤😍👍
I love this song! I was born and raised in small town and you nailed it.
This is a song about communities looking after each other. There is no racism in this song. It is a beautiful song.
Love this!!❤🎉
Jason, I love this song! Guitar, your voice you guys are good. This video was very good too!!! I watch them ALL!!!
Omg This song is the best! I live in a small town and we take care of our own.
Damm a song that means the truth. Fly our flag high.
July 19, 2023. Update. The LAMEstream and social media is crucifying Mr. Aldean and this song due to their MISCONSTRUED and utterly wrong interpretation of this song.... They are totally taking the most negative, incorrect, interpretation they possibly can and now making it viral.
@@k.hendrickson8735LoL. Wait until we all Bud Lite CMT and who the hell is Sheryl Crow?
So you lynch people?
@KaneBrownmusicincc yall are racist
Hell yeah! 🇺🇸 awesome song
Not a country fan but I LOVE this song with all my patriotic heart!
*God Bless America!* . . . .and I ain’t even American 😮🏴
Great tune, great sound, awesome lyrics….. fundamental sentiment 👍👍👍
Love this song!!🇺🇸
Awesome Song Jason, Thank you Brother, Stay blessed :)
Being from a tiny town in Tennessee, this song is totally the truth. We may be the little people to most, but we defend ourselves like no other!
You Go Sister God Bless You And Family And Your Town Much Love And Respect 💗💗
I'm from TN also and this song is fire.
Like Jason publicly explained, the song is saying that if the crimes shown in the Video which happen to be Acltual News Footage, were to actually take place in a small town that the people living there would come together and help each other to defend themselves until the Authorities arrived to help. That's all
I was raised in Detroit in the 70's. A nice place turned into a nightmare. I will, now, only live in small towns.
I'm from a small town in Tennessee, too, and this is how we are here.
Love this song!
These are words of us true patriots who still love America!! Thank you Mr Aldean!!❤🇺🇲❤️🇺🇲❤️🇺🇲❤️🇺🇲
Served in a combat zone. You question my patriotism?

You never disappoint, God Bless you Jason
God bless a man that threatens others with violence, spews hate and stupidity all over the place and could instead be a nice, humble guy? Please. He's disappointing every second.
You put into this song what we in our small towns feel. ❤
Amen, Jason! Love it!

Absolutely beautiful song! I’m from the midwest from a country home. It’s all about respect for others! Nothing resist about this song. Funny how different people interpret words. 😂😂. Keep on doing your thing Jason! ❤️❤️👏🏻👏🏻🔥🔥
Especially when someone’s words make them look bad they don’t like being exposed
Wow - Jason, heard today it was removed from CMT - hope this song tops the charts....I live in a small town - so I know the song is sooo true. Thank you for recording this.
Love your music and lyrics Jason!!!!!
Absolutely love this song....
Just sayin' we live in a small town. Hearing this awesome song for the first time tonight & appreciate its true life lyrics.
I had to come and watch and read the lyrics to this song after everything that's been in the news. I am 100% behind Jason Aldean I grew up in a small town is completely makes sense to me. I see absolutely nothing wrong with this song Proud To Be An American Proud to be from a small town where we don't judge one another we help our neighbors we are like family and we will stand up for what is right because we're Americans the small town we have pride and we're not afraid to stand for what's right. So Jason Aldean I give you a pat on the back for this song
I love this song‼️
When are We The People going to come together and say enough is enough all start standing together to stop this Shit going on in our Country... I stand with you Jason Aldean.
Calm down breathe we are all one wether you are white black brown asian we are all americans
when the far right and ppl like jason aldean stop being racist? stop playing dumb , you and everyone else knows exactly what the song is talking about.
And the voters said they have had enough of orange clowns
The one's elected, lol, to protect the country are working overtime with an open border to make sure you never get your country back..
Thank you Jason, I’m in a small town, standing with my neighbors! Love you for making this song! Goosebumps ❤🙏💋🐻🤗
There are more small towns and that's what scares them when we stand up. Love this song 🎵 💙
