This is one of the BEST versions of this song I've ever heard (and I've heard a few in the last 55 years). Great work on the vocals Chiz and the back-ups - so important for THE sound. Congrats.
You ain't lying very best version in 55 or 6 Yrs. If anyone likes playing 60's music at parties or gatherings with their band. This would certainly be a great song to play.
Way to go guys, and the audience! This goes back to my hey days and what I think of the beginning of rock. What a LP 33 record it was, and I had so many of them for years some played so many times back then. Sold them, cause I got to be free - back to the Garden far away .
Songs tend to make a person recalll things, maybe a favorite smell from the kitchen of a child hood dish being cooked, Or some time or event in one's life. To me this song reminds me of the 60s and how powerful music was as new to my ears. Brings tears to my eyes.
This is for golden oldie Boomers. Glad to see some grandmas still fit into ‘60s clothes and can do the hair! They should ALL dance, even if on a walker or wheelchair!
Very cool band. Stumbled upon one of your other videos and had to see more. I like everything about the band. On this song, I especially like that the lead guitarist played the solo LIKE IT IS ON THE RECORD. So many players don't take the time to learn the parts accurately, or they decide to "improve" the solo by making up one of their own. Thanks, a guitarist from the US.
Excellent! It brought me right back to the mid to late 60’s when I played in my Rock Band while in High School. Great job right on the money with the sound and the vocals. Not going to lie ***I am a little jealous*** of you guys still doing it at your age. I am less then a week away from turning 70 and I still have plenty of my old music equipment. Keep making the video’s. Totally enjoyed.
Thanks very much for your comment. Sometimes we can't believe that we are still playing at our age and still have an audience that enjoys what we do. Keep on rockin' mate and thanks for watching.
I thought I knew all the Melbourne 60's bands but I have never heard of The Herberts..........but they are great...or is this in Melbourne, Florida, USA ???
Excelente versión de este gran himno del Rock y el cual nos recuerda a los grandiosos Yardbirds, uno de los mejores grupos de Rock que han existido. Para mi fue el tercero mejor.
Great version and better than these new "Yardbirds" Jim McCarthy is with. Also looks like a great house party, if you ever need a 70 year old sax player from the US give me a ring, I'll play free.
Thanks very much for your kind comment. If you are ever in Melbourne, Australia and you have your sax with you, get in contact we would love to have a blow with you. We may even buy you a beer or two!
@@mreckes9967 Your comment brings this to mind from Generation Kill Sergeant Brad 'Iceman' Colbert: Point, Ray. I was one of those unfortunates adopted by upper middle-class professionals and nurtured in an environment of learning, art and a socio-religious culture steeped in more than 2000 years of Talmudic tradition. Not everyone is lucky enough to have been raised in a whiskey tango trailer park by a bow-legged female whose sole qualification for motherhood is a womb that happened to catch a sperm of a passing truck driver.
Very nice great song sound tunes Music Love and Peace ❤️❤️🎶🎶🎶1965 Forever ❤️💙🎵🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎵

Great cover of the yardbirds classic.
Many thanks, Victor.

Cheers Big Hair!
Pleased I clicked on this, just brilliant.
Thanks Victor!
Really well done - love the original and this version is excellent
Thanks heaps Stuart, you rock!
Far better than most live performances you'll see on RUclips and only 7,802 view? Way underrated and underappreciated. Should be 7.8 million views.
Thanks Monte, we can only dream of that many views.
You got that right!!!
Well most people that remember this are older and probably don’t remember the song or band name. I for one always look at the older 70’s stuff 🤙🏻

The lead guitar parts sound smashin' on that semi hollow body. Well done. Great version, fellas.
Thanks Soundhealer.
Agreed, great tone, sounds like the original.
I think it is a swedish made Hagstrom semi.
Excellent!
Thanks Angel!
This vid just needs *1* more like and it will be perfect! I am 665.
Being a musician this is one that was thrown at me and the band I was with that night. I’d forgotten the words but we pulled it off ❤️
Like it! Your "spot on" with the guitars, vocals, and harmonizing!

A good easy cool song to play in a band.
That lead guitar tone sounds like Becky. I love it; it makes the whole song.
Cheers Jim, our lead guitarist Rob 'Houndog' Herbert will be chuffed.
This is better than the original. In my opinion. I love his vocals.

Weak - ironic that you have no soul in a song titled heart full of soul
oh my Goodnesss they are FIRE amazing better than yardbirds stronger they rock
