The upgraded Stronghold is the entire reason I'm building a new super battleship. I took _severe_ offense to the fact it had bigger CRAMs than anything in my arsenal up to that point.
There really isnt many good cram craft in neter and the stronghold by far does the best job out of all of them. Close second would be the Casiophea from the Scatlet Dawn but it sadly doesnt have staggered fire.
I remember the old version had this funny issue where its main AI was dead center of the craft's mass. So Remote Guidance missiles would sometimes two tap it since they aim COM. And its internals where just voids
Oh, so it was upgraded... I was very surprised it took out my old cruiser in a test fight. This slab of heavy armor water frontsider is kinda perfect poison against supercav APS with not enough armor pen.
fun fact: the stronghold has most its firepower in missiles, and the only missiles it uses is torpedoes which means if you are a hydrofoil constantly changing direction, the stronghold is pretty weak
Firepower is often a bad way to measure a craft's combat power, the Stronghold's main weapons are definitely it's crams, the firepower calculator tends to underestimate CRAMs in my experience.
@UntoppedToppHat it definitely underestimates hardener, but pure HE can get below 300 mats per firepower, it's a good refrence for crams' actual firepower w/ armor peircing.

They turned the stronghold from a missile craft in disguise into a actuall cram craft with proper crams (very rare for neter craft)

The most potent aspect of the stronghold now is its crams, but fast hydrofoils that constantly change directions still counters that.
