Before this video, i thought the only way to make shockwaves push u forward was to turn 180 degrees around, stop moving, and then throw it, but this video makes it easy. Thanks!
Unless I got unlucky that time when it happened, I think it's note worthy that shockwaves don't land on the leaves of trees (even if you can stand on the tree yourself) so don't use them to got off of a tall tree.
My first game after the update, I rifted down on the island house right as someone was finishing capturing. Shockwave sent them back to land and I grabbed the mythic & slurp, and padded right down on their head. Dude had to be furious

I don't seem to find them as easily as it was in chapter 3, don't know why. The best chance of getting them i think is opening a temple vault, that usually has like 5 legendary chests so higher chances of grenades

I find them alllll the time lmao. I’ve never used them before this season, and so far I have managed to shockwave myself back into the storm while trying to get out 😂😂. Will deff try out the pit thing later for some practice! Also while I’m here, what are your thoughts on the cloaking gauntlets??
I think they are busted as fuck. I've casually walked into so many firefights with 3+ people and taken down each person completely uncontested because of them. theyve gotten me out of some real shit situations ive found myself in, too. It's a great way to get in close without making yourself a highly visible target in the process.

I would propose to use cars/bikes more: learn the poi where there are cars and rotate. Not because it is harder to use (comparing to katana/odm/webgloves) but just because it is only 3….I see the higher importance of having bunkers always and if you use 3 weapons -> no space for grenades. But if u drag 2 weapons (pump and mk is a good combination even for spraying) than granades OR Optimal’s energy canon can be a good option
Hoping for a loadout or guide for this new update in general. I have been getting rolled since the update despite a 25% win rate in solo ZB before the update. I'll just get pushed with shocks, I get anxiety over what my loadout should be with the tracker, shocks, invis, flare, drummy, havoc (which I still prefer and therefore need an smg), ports, etc. Surely over time I'll find the stuff I would prefer but yeah it's been a lot to take in! Edit: As a tip, you can shockwave up through a building 4 floors max. You'll hit your head on the 5th due to lack of momentum. So 4 stories or less to surprise people or just as an escape you can go inside and shock to the roof.

Is there some trick to getting the super jump effect with sock wave/soaring sprints? I try every time I get soaring springs and it never works for me. :( I'm on xbox if that matters. Is there some trick to it? or do you just throw the shockwave under you and jump? Ive never been able to exploit the soaring/shockwave/repeater move. :(
you have to sprint jump as the shockwave goes off. With soaring sprints when you sprint jump you get that low gravity effect until you hit the ground and you basically just need that effect when the shockwave goes off.

I like how mobility takes skill to use and can be used in multiple ways depending on your strategy. Happy they unvaulted them!
Using them to remove people of cover or propel them off a good position is one of my favorite things to do as it’s just really satisfying for me

Update i cleared someone off high ground with it by throwing it at them and won the fight when I was down and out.
@@captainmeowzersyou can carry 6 at a time in one slot though. But the spawn rate seems really low compared to chapter 3
