I became an avid Korean music aka Kpop listener/lover since 1998. Korean and rap music were my coping mechanisms from the bullying I experienced in middle school through high school and my love for the genre has stuck by me ever since. The genre, along with artists like Michael Jackson, Aaliyah, Britney Spears, etc. then motivated me into becoming a hip-hop/pop dancer, which was a very active lifestyle for me literally throughout my whole 20s. (XTRA DANCE 411- I danced for, trained, and performed with 4 different dance teams. My first and main dance team who started my "dance life" was with Marvelous Motion (who later became IaMmE, America's Best Dance Crew Season 6 Champions). A lot of my dance training came from Di "Moon" Zhang, Brandon "747" Harrell, Emilio Dosal, SOREAL, and from attending many dance classes in Houston and L.A. (from amazing local talent to widely-known talents such as Parris Goebel, Keone Madrid, Kyle Hanagami, Lando Wilkins, Mister Wiggles, Rino Nakasone)
Unfortunately, I took a huge break from Korean music and dance around 2015 when I was officially diagnosed with lupus nephritis, seizures, and a heart murmur. I was receiving and battling years of chemotherapy and dialysis along with taking 32 pills a day, so I had no mental/emotional/spiritual room to keep myself updated with Kpop or dance. Luckily, I'm in remission now. That doesn't mean that lupus and seizures are gone because I am still very capable of frequent flare-ups if I don't take care of myself, but I make sure to do so enough to manage and live as "normally" as possible. I am also not capable of being an active dancer like I used to be due to my chronic illnesses, but I’m still a dancer in my mind, heart, and soul.
ALSO! Just to be SUPER clear- me calling myself an "OG kpop stan" does NOT mean that anyone who's listened to kpop after me is inferior or less-than. A kpop lifestyle is a kpop lifestyle regardless of time. Please don’t get that sh*t twisted.😛 Sooo I am currently and actively keeping a weather eye on the KPOP horizon and also using what I’ve learned from my dance years to give credit where it’s due!

Listen I realize that this is a reaction video and your job is to respond but JEEZ. You never stopped going on and on for each move she made. There is a time and place to comment but talking over the drop everytime.....it totally kills the flow of the song. How can you say you liked the song when all you did was talk talk talk more and more. There is no way to give it a proper reaction. Frustrating as hell.
Listen, I realize that me feeling the need to give credit where I see it frustrates you, but gee... have you considered that my perspective could be different from yours? Just because you don't understand how I'm capable of appreciating the song and video at first listen WITH me pausing and giving credit where I see it doesn't mean that my opinions about the song and video is any less authentic. Now, I don't explain this in every video nor do I expect everyone to hear everything I say, so I'll say it again: I have a seizure disorder where I unfortunately and inevitably will forget what I want to say, so I do annoyingly and mindlessly pause and talk a lot. However, I've been working on this pausing issue in my recent videos, since many of y'all seem to find it frustrating enough to criticize my reaction being "proper" or authentic.

swipe was my favorite song from the album, im so glad they made a mv for it!
Choreography may seem simple but it's really next level coming from these girls. So freaking good at what they do, each of them excels differently with no overlap.

I think this comeback has made me lean closer into calling Ryujin my Itzy bias. I love her swag!
Also, it's been driving me nuts not knowing where that sound effect thing comes from. The first listen made me immediately think of the meme of the kid who says "have you ever had a dream, where you...you want, you want them to do you so much you could do anything?"
Itzy so 🔥 my first rookie group when I got into kpop a few years ago. They been slaying since their debut. The music, mv’s, choreo, the way they use each other as props. Just all around personalities. I love watching them grow.
My latest fav rookie group is weeekly. A bunch of aces their.
Addictive choreo and song. My fave off the album and iI catch myself watching the video a little too often. It’s just hella dope.

I just noticed (this June to be specific) that Dalla Dalla Dance Practice 2020 version has choreography changes. After the line _"Bad, bad, I'm sorry I'm bad. I'm just the way I am"_ they changed the steps. In 2019 official version they do *head bang & head spinning in the same time* but in the 2020 the choreo was more chill. When you made a Dalla dalla reaction video I didn't notice those changes but my mind says while watching _"there's something missing in the choreography I dunno what it is"_ and even the intro. 2019 ver. Yeji starts to dance at 1, 2, 3, 4 count, But in 2020 ver. 1, 2 dance steps was removed, she's just standing and she continued the 3, 4 original steps. And also the random hand pose before the 2nd prechorus was changed.
Hoping for them to make album in Japanese market. I'm looking forward to hear all the title track from debut in Japanese lyrics after all the English version
