Great video, my friend! As I said below, you are the kind of guy I liked to run with on a job where you had 50 miles between quarries...Kept the day light and fun...and that's what it's all about---we're having fun out there while getting the job done!! Be safe now...I'm retired and this makes me homesick!!
Great to see you floating the gears. I've always said that I would not double clutch if I drove a truck. I'm lazy and double clutching is just a waste of energy. Best thing about the golf carts is that they were made here in my hometown Augusta, Ga. Club Car and EzGo have their manufacturing plants here.
started driving when I was 18 year old l learned on an old 85 Mack DM twin stick, tri now I run 03 Mack granite with 18 speed quad axle two ( lift axles)
Hey John Fassbender, I also started driving Triax dump, in an old 66 DM, 2 sticker. Once in a while had to drive an old 65 B 61. The cab was so small, it was sized for midgets. On the first run the foreman drove, what a fright! He got out and said good luck kid yer gonna need it!
hay wade the Jake problem maybe the solenoids, easy way to check the is to take the valve cover off and push down on the center of the solenoid while it running and u can tell if it's working right or not, another thing to check is the oil pressure maybe low, we had a truck at work that had low oil pressure and the ly found a small oil line to be pretty much plugged and they fixed it and wow does it work now
I've had a long run of bad luck, so I just watch Logger Wade to cheer me up. That guy is a man's man! He's not giving some long bitch session about his new pickup acting up etc...... he just works hard, picks on himself more than anyone. My daughter ordered a Logger Wade t shirt, he signed the receipt! Cool guy!
Thomas Sojka This Wade hits me the same way. I drove Mack tri-axles for years hauling asphalt and aggregate. Then, I went to ready mix. This old boy Wade is the kind of guy you want to run with all day, hitting you up on the CB, "How 'bout ya, 4 Way?" That was my handle cause I loved 4 way Skyline Chili in Cincinnati. I drove in Florida a pile of years too and ended (retired) in PA. This is the ideal attitude to have on the road.
Jeeeezzzz man she really runs out when you get her out on the "big road"! You drive that thing like playing a piano. You know the tune just have to play it.Really wish I had your attitude about things. Enjoyed the ride in the as you called it "tricycle"
Now that’s an Honorary “Maine-I-ak” Field Fix, a #5 Rebar GatePin, but it (technically)is missing the (Black Duct-Tape Hand-Grip), for High Performance!
This video is funny to me I've stopped at the marathon a million times comming back from Lousiville and looks like you got off at my exit there at boonville and of course in santa claus. Neat video
I love mack trucks but thats a pain. I ran a mid 90s cl700 oil field service rig. Of course over weight tandem axle. Up and down mountains. With the same issue boss man never fixed it cause he said wasnt needed.🤣 im their thinking and the alternative is cheaper. Sure ill float them valves and burn the brakes.. miss the roughneck life but not the small outfit
man ole day-this the 2nd time u took me for a heck of a ride-i-yi-yi. i hope u check ur wipers when u got back at the mill, cause damn-i think that has got to be the fastest i've ever seen Mack wiper's work. oh-my god-u had me rolling in tears when u speeded the video up-boy if u could of added some benny hill tunes to that part would of been priceless. which is why i continue to watch ya!!! great one again. where the heck is Steveey???
OMG- i sure hope he get's it straight, so he can pass. damn-i wanna see that fancy foot work of his a shifting ur blackie-lol. u gonna let him drive it-anymore??????
darn-i just looked up what that red heart u gave me was all about-:-) best friends for 2 weeks-damn!! i likeee it!!! ha! i hope mommy ain't gonna get jealous. ha!
u need a sweet ride,so sad you aint got Scania in your country..no shaking,no screeeeeming just a smooooth ride.. you need to get over here and try out one ;)
I go with my brother Micheal alot we haul gravel and stuff so long rides aren't anything to me lol very nice video Logger Wade ...p.s. tell stevey I said STEVEY if you don't mind
In the old u model mack i use to drive the switch that was beside the throttle under the hood warps of heat just adjust it and all will be good. But the jacks suck in them macks.😂 good old mechanical engines.
what was the name of the place where you took the load to the play ground at? i swear i remember going there with my grandparents when i was younger but can't remember the name of it
Logger Wade ha! Man this summer if y'all go to HW I'd love to go down and meet ya. Gives me an excuse to go. If somehow we do I DON'T WANNA BE ON VIDJA OR I WILL RUN!
YOU got on freeway & away you went damn i never saw or heard a dumpTRUCKER sound so god before .lol heck if you just would have stayed on freeway for a few 100 more miles you could have dropped them here at our house stay safe, have fun b/c life is short STEVIE YOU WATCHING B/C AFTER 32 DRIVING/ WRITTEN TESTS YOU HAVE TO WAIT for 23 YRS BEFORE TAKING ANOTHER DRIVING TEST
Oh okay thanks. Every now and then I get a chance to drive one out a macks with a maxitorque 7 speed. Whine it out in every gear and pray you got enough power. I love our Peterbilt 379 with a Eaton fuller 18 speed. Keep up the good videos. Always get a good laugh out of them. Especially stevey's double clutching lol!!!

CumminsDslPwr hey it's against everyone's better judgement

Chad Isett hey thanks buddy it was just the throttle switch but I know what your talking about on the solenoids never tried that trick thanks
Your welcome wade just a heads up their will be oil everywhere if you do the solenoid trick but it works
I've had a long run of bad luck, so I just watch Logger Wade to cheer me up. That guy is a man's man! What is that lever he is adjusting with his right hand?
And How did he get to his destination with the load? did he use map quest, Do those truck have GPS ?or does he just know his directions?
You make it look so easy
when you up shift going up a hill do you have to shift faster? what about downshifting going up a hill? do you just give it less throttle?
he must have some truckers show up that cant find their way out of a wet paper bag

@ 7:09 it looked like you shifted into Detroit Diesel Mode!
If you want a driver to drive a Detroit properly. Smash his hand in the door. That way he is pissed off and heavy on the throttle
Please tell me what you did to fix the Jake brakes
That old RD really gets up and goes. Love the sound. It sure beats having a 237 and a 5 speed. lol.
you need a real bucket to load
what was the name of the place where you took the load to the play ground at? i swear i remember going there with my grandparents when i was younger but can't remember the name of it
