Damaris

A video of a dance solo by Damaris Härtl for which I made the music. I did not look at the video before I made the music, and yet, without editing, there are correspondences after correspondences. This demonstrates my intuition that the patterns and the forms that we use are inherent, even immanent - it is why two such methods of dance and music can meet. We share them, whether we plan to do so, or not. All we need do is let the correspondences occur. Video filmed at Studio dB in Berlin by Valentin Paster, who also edited the video. The music is dedicated to Max Marco, whose RUclips videos make me want to be less lazy and stupid!
