I bought all Williams tables, love to buy pinbot trilogy, high speed 1, ballys cactus Canyon and revenge from Mars. Our money waiting. 💰 I even have a virtual pinball cabinet ready for those tables.
I see a lot of people commenting that Zen Pinball had better looking, and playing tables. You have to keep in mind that Zen didn't have to stick to using scans and photos of original legacy tables. Not to take anything away from Zen Studios, but I'd have to imagine it's easier to fix bugs on a newly created table, than to have to adhere to designs and rom emulation from many years ago. You also have to give credit to Farsight, for not only bringing out tables from several different pin companies, but also on successfully funding some of the best tables with tricky licensing issues. I.E. Addams Family Pinball.
This is awesome! My one request is for there to be an option to control a camera to hover over a table so that we can see all the little gadgets and details on the playfields, Zen Studios make it happen!
Fantastic news! Attack From Mars is the big one I'm looking forward to, but I'll be sure to pick up at least a dozen of these depending on how they're priced. Any word yet on bundles or release dates?
Been playing the free table all night you guys really did an amazing job here I've purchased and played many hours of your tables in the past but this is the next level I will definitely be purchasing all of the Williams tables when I have some extra quarters 👍

Agree. I bought a couple of tables on Pinball Arcade, but didn't like the feel of it at all. And what was all that nonsense of having to buy the PRO version of each table to unlock everything like the ability to look around the table? Ridiculous. I'll just hold Square button and tilt my dualshock thank you very much! ha
What a crazy year for digital pinball. Our number 1 theory was, in fact, correct. Congratulations, Zen. Thoroughly deserved. I know I'll never see the (still glorious) Rocky and Bullwinkle X360 table ever again, but maybe - just maybe - with this announcement we'll get to see tables like Indiana Jones or The Shadow. Please, *please* - keep the physics realistic (as tough as the real life pins - we fans can handle it, or at least provide different difficulty settings for those who can't). You surely know what treasures you've been awarded. It's gold dust. Please don't let us fans down. Pinball is very very rare in the wild (except maybe in Budapest or Chicago), so there's a massive importance in this announcement. Good luck , and congratulations again.
They'll definitely have to step it up with the ball and table physics. I enjoy Zen Pinball, but their tables don't feel realistic at all, which was mostly OK for the nature of their games. They will also have to change their entire nudging/tilt system, which was really only useful for jumping the ball over the gap to get to the other flipper. I think Farsight has done an amazing job with most of their tables, but fell short with the console side of things when it came to bug fixing. They took on a bit too much, with supporting so many platforms.. remember the Ouya? They supported it. I'm also not sure I'll be buying the same tables all over yet again. I own 90 of them on the PS4, and probably half that amount on the PS3/Vita. Either way, it'll be interesting to see how they do with original table emulation vs newly designed tables.
Well, yes and no. It plays less like Zen Pinball, but it's still not up to the standard of Farsight's ball and flipper physics. Hopefully they will improve it further.
Their 2.0 physics are quite good. I've been playing real pin tables for 40 years. The PA tables are the best video representations I've plays thus far. I actually thought they weren't as bouncy as a real table. If you are referring to the way it reacts with the flippers and other areas of the tables. Of course this all depends on the rubbers in a real machine.
@@videogameobsession People play on machines with worn out rubbers and springs. If they actually played pinball machines that kept up, like you or I do, they would know that in real life, a zooming pinball will ricochet off of a pinball's flipper, and ricochet again, before a second has lapsed. These people have no idea that what they would consider "unreal" physics, happen on a nicely "kept up" pinball machine.
Great news i really liked the beta and can’t wait to play them all day in my Virtual Cabinet. Would be Nice to have them in PSVR in a real gameroom with other players on the other machines 🤩
Is the "Global Agreement" in perpetuity or does it expire? And if it expires, are the users left without their purchased tables or are the purchased tables ours to keep regardless of the status of any agreements between Zen and the table creator? My hat is off to Zen. Their tables really are fantastic and the physics are spot-on perfect! Well done.
I already have most of the Williams and Bally tables I want spread across PS3 and PC so I didn't buy any on the Xbox One version because I didn't want to double-dip (even though I do that with some games anyway) so it'll be nice to have another chance to play them on a modern system, and it'll be interesting to see how Zen Studios handles recreating real pinball tables rather than just making original ones. Whatever the case may be, I hope they're reasonably-priced and that none of them have DLC for extra. I'll miss using different types of balls though.
It will be the greatest pleasure for me, playing the best tables from the early 70th-latest 90th in very best performance!! 1. Star treck - next generation, 2. High Speed, 3. Firepower, 4. Monster bash. But Bally got more very good tables then williams! (1. Centaur 2 from 81, 2. Attack from mars, 3. Theatre of magic, 4. Scared stiff, 5. Fathom, 6. Laser War) IAM playing over 300 tables live in my life. And on FX2 IAM Top 10 by over 40.000 crazy pinball-users. And on FX3 like that.-

With bad news came the good news. Farsight Studios originally owned the WMS license. I can't be happier to hear that Zen Studios will be bringing WMS pinball to Pinball FX 3.

Not in a million years I would have thought that the license would be given to someone else in the digital pinball market this soon... I wonder how would you remake segment display games, such as Dr. Dude, or Pin*Bot... Certain games are having additional features, such as backglass spinner, usage of which depends on the game. It may show the poker hand(Jokerz), act as roulette(Riverboat Gambler, Cyclone), or simply for looks(Hurricane).
Nice to see new tables that aren't more Star Wars ones for a change, the Star Wars tables are fun but it's nice to get tables that are something different. Pity the Star Trek: Next Generation table isn't part of the new tables, wouldn't mind seeing Star Trek pinball tables based on the pre-reboot Star 'trek' Wars series and Discovery as well at some point. Like maybe a DS9 pinball and Voyager for example.

Zen Studios yeah I’m loving it so far, I’m actually an ex game tester from playstation 7 years and now a part time game designer full time Architect, currently making a 2D indie pinball game for mobile, you guys are such an inspiration :) hopefully I can visit the studio one day 👊👊👊
Both absolutely fantastic games. We are going to focus on Williams Bally now, but there are some really great machines out there from different manufacturers.
Do you have the license for all the Williams/Bally tables? I'd love to see Jungle Lord, Funhouse and Indiana Jones! Also more PSVR tables please!! The VR versions are incredible!
From the pinball machine side yes, we have agree with Scientific Games for all Williams and Bally licenses. The ones in the library that are themed after popular shows or movies we'll need another round of talks. Recently I have been involved with the Pinball's, right now I am using the digital version of Williams Pinball Arcade and I hope very soon to have these games in particular that give a sensational relationship. I would like to know how they are called the 1:29 minute joystick that are observed in blue and red, I would like to be able to acquire them but I do not know what they are called or where I could acquire them. I hope you guys at Zen ask for more reasonable prices for these recreations. I got to play a couple of your games at CAX 2017 and NWPAS 2018 and I must say, the physics are fluent.

Hopefully they will release a mix of tables that Farsight already did and ones they didn’t do. I already have all of the tables from farsight to the tune of 8.00 each over 6 years. Not really wanting to buy them again but I’m sure they will be better.
It is hilarious to the point of having to rebuy a whole bunch of tables. The only upside might be for xbox owners. They might as well deal with Stern too as this will stifle all of that development.
that's farsight mucking up their GUI. Only time I went back was to buy out what little I had left on Williams. (mom's maiden name so it was always natural to buy Williams games
I'm pretty sure you can keep and redownload all of the virtual tables you bought in Pinball Arcade, including those from Bally and Williams. Do you know something I don't?
Will these tables be available for VR (Rift, Vive, etc.) as well? I've really enjoyed the Zen Studios VR offerings so far but these would be guaranteed purchases for me in VR.
I hope so too! I have some of these on Farsight, I'd buy them again on Zen Pinball for VR! I might even buy one just to compare it to the Pinball Arcade versions...
SO excited! Kickstarted many of the Farsight tables and own all 7 seasons (plus pro) on both iOS and PS4. Hope that you can bring multiple camera options including PSVR support. Good Luck Zen and great job on the license acquisition :)
These better have way better physics than Pinball FX3! Real tables with cartoony physics would be such a waste. So I'm hoping for a brand new engine in the vein of TPA or Zaccaria Pinball, with realistic physics and lots of options, not to mention a great lighting engine, especially for nighttime play. If you can deliver on all this, you can have all my money. ;) *Edit*: Just saw a tiny bit of gameplay on Crow Pinball. First impressions are very, very good! Great job guys! :D
I noticed that from the videos I've seen now. :) Sadly, I'm on a Mac, so I can't test the Steam beta for myself, but I'l looking forward to buying all the tables you put out on Switch (and most likely Xbox One as well) as soon as they are released. (PS: Hoping to see Solar Fire one day as it's been over 35 years since I was able to play that table) ;)

I noticed that none of your first wave tables (fishtales, Junkyard, medieval madness, getaway) are movie licensed tables. Will you also be releasing great tables such as Addams family, Star Trek TNG, Terminator 2, etc?
This had seen to be bad news when Farsight lost the licenses, but seeing that this was so Zen Studios could pick up the license, this is GREAT NEWS indeed. Although Pinball Arcade had the better table designs, Zen Pinball is a FAR, FAR, FAR superior product than Pinball Arcade is. And seeing Williams licensed tables get the Zen treatment, ohhh.... this is such good news!!
Congrats, Zen! One of the biggest failures of the TPA versions was the sound. WPC'95 games like Medieval, Attack From Mars, etc were EXTREMELY flat and compressed sounding, which is nothing like playing the real games...they sound very robust and full of bass. I think they were just emulating the raw audio rather than making it sound how it gets processed through the WPC'95 audio board. Older games like Whitewater had voice clips seemingly playing at the wrong speed, which resulted in a more garbled sound. Hopefully you guys will take that into account and make these games SOUND like they really should! Thanks!
I hope they get the physics almost perfect like pinball arcade did. Every real pinball machine I've found and played was very close to Pinball Arcade. Hope they get the physics just as or better TPA

@@ZenStudios I've played Terminator 2 and Twilight Zone a lot, but also Star Trek TNG, Indiana Jones and Addams Family. Never paid close attention to which company released which tables though.
Pinball Arcade is a complete joke. The amount of times my progress got reset back to zero and would have to start from scratch is insane. Pinball FX3 is quite simply the best Pinball game out there and to see real world tables as well as the fantasy is excellent news!
Alright! Williams and Bally pinball collection are coming to Nintendo Switch and I'm sure hope Star Wars Pinball: Rogue One and The Empire Strikes Back will released on Nintendo Switch. By the way, can you do Sailor Moon pinball table after this?

The physics are closer to TPA for the Williams tables. Doesn't play like Pinball FX3 at all.

I don't consider Farsight's physics to be high standards, personally. Having played real tables, the ball is too bouncy.

Titanic4 Adventure Land uses a system kinda like Cyclone and Jokerz.

Zen Studios yeah I’m loving it so far, I’m actually an ex game tester from playstation 7 years and now a part time game designer full time Architect, currently making a 2D indie pinball game for mobile, you guys are such an inspiration :) hopefully I can visit the studio one day 👊👊👊

Both absolutely fantastic games. We are going to focus on Williams Bally now, but there are some really great machines out there from different manufacturers.
Do you have the license for all the Williams/Bally tables? I'd love to see Jungle Lord, Funhouse and Indiana Jones! Also more PSVR tables please!! The VR versions are incredible!
From the pinball machine side yes, we have agree with Scientific Games for all Williams and Bally licenses. The ones in the library that are themed after popular shows or movies we'll need another round of talks. We aim to release the most popular and demanded ones, and we hope we can make it happen sometime in the future. Stay tuned for our announcements!

Friends good day. Recently I have been involved with the Pinball's, right now I am using the digital version of Williams Pinball Arcade and I hope very soon to have these games in particular that give a sensational relationship. I would like to know how they are called the 1:29 minute joystick that are observed in blue and red, I would like to be able to acquire them but I do not know what they are called or where I could acquire them. Greetings to all.
I hope you guys at Zen ask for more reasonable prices for these recreations. I got to play a couple of your games at CAX 2017 and NWPAS 2018 and I must say, the physics are fluent.

And one month later... these tables are fantastic. As good as it gets. This is the closest we've ever seen these tables, by a long shot.
Hopefully they will release a mix of tables that Farsight already did and ones they didn’t do. I already have all of the tables from farsight to the tune of 8.00 each over 6 years. Not really wanting to buy them again but I’m sure they will be better.

It is hilarious to the point of having to rebuy a whole bunch of tables. The only upside might be for xbox owners. They might as well deal with Stern too as this will stifle all of that development.
that's farsight mucking up their GUI. Only time I went back was to buy out what little I had left on Williams. (mom's maiden name so it was always natural to buy Williams games
I'm pretty sure you can keep and redownload all of the virtual tables you bought in Pinball Arcade, including those from Bally and Williams. Do you know something I don't?
Will these tables be available for VR (Rift, Vive, etc.) as well? I've really enjoyed the Zen Studios VR offerings so far but these would be guaranteed purchases for me in VR.
I hope so too! I have some of these on Farsight, I'd buy them again on Zen Pinball for VR! I might even buy one just to compare it to the Pinball Arcade versions...

These better have way better physics than Pinball FX3! Real tables with cartoony physics would be such a waste. So I'm hoping for a brand new engine in the vein of TPA or Zaccaria Pinball, with realistic physics and lots of options, not to mention a great lighting engine, especially for nighttime play. If you can deliver on all this, you can have all my money. ;)

I noticed that from the videos I've seen now. :) Sadly, I'm on a Mac, so I can't test the Steam beta for myself, but I'l looking forward to buying all the tables you put out on Switch (and most likely Xbox One as well) as soon as they are released. (PS: Hoping to see Solar Fire one day as it's been over 35 years since I was able to play that table) ;)

This had seen to be bad news when Farsight lost the licenses, but seeing that this was so Zen Studios could pick up the license, this is GREAT NEWS indeed. Although Pinball Arcade had the better table designs, Zen Pinball is a FAR, FAR, FAR superior product than Pinball Arcade is. And seeing Williams licensed tables get the Zen treatment, ohhh.... this is such good news!!

Congrats, Zen! One of the biggest failures of the TPA versions was the sound. WPC'95 games like Medieval, Attack From Mars, etc were EXTREMELY flat and compressed sounding, which is nothing like playing the real games...they sound very robust and full of bass. I think they were just emulating the raw audio rather than making it sound how it gets processed through the WPC'95 audio board. Older games like Whitewater had voice clips seemingly playing at the wrong speed, which resulted in a more garbled sound. Hopefully you guys will take that into account and make these games SOUND like they really should! Thanks!

It wasnt sadly the choice of Farsight, WMS chose to not renew the license deal with Farsight and instead went on with Zen.

Pinball Arcade is a complete joke. The amount of times my progress got reset back to zero and would have to start from scratch is insane.
Pinball FX3 is quite simply the best Pinball game out there and to see real world tables as well as the fantasy is excellent news!

Alright! Williams and Bally pinball collection are coming to Nintendo Switch and I'm sure hope Star Wars Pinball: Rogue One and The Empire Strikes Back will released on Nintendo Switch. By the way, can you do Sailor Moon pinball table after this?
