The video claims to show how to upgrade 6 to 10 channels. However, you start off with 10 channel. How exactly does this explain how to make the upgrade? If you change the title it would be a good video.

The first 3 days with the remote control I could not drive backwards, it cost me a lot of nerves, until that worked. And i dont know exactly what ive done lol If I read the comment sections of the i6 remote control videos in connection with rc cars, I was probably not the only one ^^
you need to connect the ESC to the channel 2 because in channel 2, the stick stay at the middle position(1500) in car esc 1500 is stop below 1500 is backward above 1500 is forward

I support i-Bus only, for sbus it require dedicated hardware module.

You can use any FTDI adapter or arduino or the cable comes with CT6B

Mine works perfectly try to re bind if not bind then re reflash it with the firmware which is given in the description.

Please do it again, and check all channels. if still you face the same problem then roll back to default firmware.
