Is there any way to change the view automatically to those filters? For example, write "STEEL" in the comand line and the view shows only the STEEL group layers?
In my old workplace we did that with floors ("0" would show the elements only in the 00 group, etc). This is useful for people who work with many levels of layers, as civil engineers.

      Hi Ricardo,
While I haven't tried that I'm sure it's possible at least to some degree. I would look into creating a group filter for your steel layers and then look at a lisp or marco to automatically isolate the desired filter. It should be pretty straight forward.
Thank you for watching and for the great question/comment!
      Cheers,
      Brandon

Do you have any idea why the horizontal scroll bar would go away on the bottom of the layers manager

Great tip. I am a MicroStation User learning AutoCAD and your short, concise videos provide very useful tips you don’t see in a lot of others resource videos including F1/Autodesk.

I have the same issue. I feel like someone has applied some setting to the files in question that is preventing me from dragging the layers to a new group layer
