Great speach from a great Marine. You taught me some college classes while we were in 2/4 back around 2007-2008. You always looked out for your junior Marines, the USMC needs more leaders like you. Enjoy your retirement
Wow! Amazing! As a former Marine who now teaches cadets I am going to show this video and have them discuss it. If your ever in California / LA and want to speak my cadets at my military school let me know!
In 2005 I had then Ssgt Patton for a short time as a DI before he moved on to another platoon after 1st phase. Man he could call cadence when marching on the parade deck.

Thanks for the words. I do make it out there from time to time, so it's possible. Thanks again!

Showing this video to my cadets again, grades 6-12! They Love it!
Thank good I was able to learn from this man. What’s so powerful about this speech is that it’s not a speech, it’s him being him!
This is freakin motivating! Leaders like you are hard to find in the Marine Corps nowadays.
Thanks!
Back in August 1994 he was my drill instructor in MCRD San Diego Ca. Platoon 2047. Back then he was in E5. Thank you sergeant major Patton
