Don’t know what doc is talking about but Anna is doing fine with the spreader 💯🌹, But I miss the good witch 🌹❤️ and her putting out product and working in the garden 👀👀
Congratulations, Doc! I’m now on Instagram!!! I noticed you didn’t bring in another grumpy old guy to help you! I guess one on the videos is enough!😂😂😂. Welcome, Anna!!
Anna is awesome. Thanks, Doc. Very helpful information. I live north, and I started core areoration and over seeding last week. Right in time for the rain a week after.
Hey doc I love that your in GA also I’m just a little further south so I just fallow along what you do only a few weeks behind and things are going great. Do you have a forum or somewhere you say when you do something to your lawn because if so, I would just add it to my calendar two weeks later
I just had zoysia sod installed on October 19th in Georgia and was told to water it 3X/day the 1st week, 2X/day the 2nd week and 1X/day the 3rd week. I'm in the 2nd week and now the temperature is dropping to the 60s during the day and 40s at night. Do I need to adjust my watering? I was told fall is the best time to install as you can save on water, but the darn leaves are driving me crazy! Please offer guidance.
Oct 19, 1991 there was a fire in the Oakland hills CA, It was probably 90 degrees that day, the weather is not same in every state, I thought POA dies in the winter, I just went through hell with crab grass and a little bit of POA so your telling me something else is coming, Oh I reseeded last spring and I been pulling crab grass poa every day, it's looking good the crab grass is slowing down. I'll probably do a pre-emergent in November.
Looking for help on my dying Bermuda grass, I moved into a new home and I feel like the new sod never grabbed on. How can I help it now so it come out nice and green next year?
I know you're a trained professional doc but I found when it comes to Deer if you point cameras at your orchard you will find do standing on their back legs over the top of them cages you are hard pressed to keep dear out of anything I found the flag Electrical Fence to be the most efficient a couple of them will bump into it but once they figure out what the flags are on the wire will stay away from it and you will notice funnily enough next year's babies won't get near a teether you do not have to keep it electrified my only electric fence I use for a snake fence
Armadillo is attacking my yard. I just got Duocide in, but is there anything I can do about the Armadillo in the meantime? And how long does it take for the Grubs to actually die / go away?
Doc, I am a huge fan! Thanks for your channel! My yard is looking better than it ever has after following your stuff for a few months. Not only that, taking care of my yard is now a fun hobby instead of an annoying chore. Here’s my question…I’m in Idaho and the snow is about to hit which means voles are gearing up to create devastating highways in my yard. I know this is not a Georgia problem (the snow part anyway) but I’m wondering if you have any suggestions. Maybe you’ve done a video on this or would consider doing one?
Doc, I’ve put seed on a large bare hill for erosion. Some areas didn’t germinate and it’s been 14 days. How soon can I re-seed? Can I rake around or do I over-seed this go around?
No one seems to mention the watering. Currently, have high 80's and starting to reduce my watering amount. However, when should I stop? Should I go into October if in the 70's and water or should I stop altogether and let the rain do it? Thanks!
I’m in Oklahoma and have Bermuda grass. I’ve got a tree in my front yard that doesn’t allow for a lot of sunshine. What type of seed should I mix to get grass under the tree? Also, do I overseer my entire yard with the new seed?
Hey Doc. Big question for ya. I have 1.00 acre with about 37,000 square feet of grass area. It's mostly bermuda, but the Bahiagrass is taking over and I hate it. How can I do things like Scarifying/verticutting, and Scalping with only small equipment? With those small vericutters and baggers it would take DAYS to do my lawn, and that's just for scarifying. Currently I have a Bad Boy 54" cut rotary mower for my property and even that takes me an hour and a half just to mow only.
Hey Doc, I just wanted to ask one thing I haven’t been able to find any videos about you talking about Bermuda grass mites and how to control them or kill them completely. Could you point me in the right direction or possibly make a video on this concern? Thank you
Anne, good addition she looks fit and has pep in her step. Was the Good Witch loading zucchini, those look like monsters. Doc would you use the scarifier on zoysia prior to putting down the last treatment of PGF complete for the year.
Hello, I am in Cleveland Ohio. I did a lawn renovation over Labor Day weekend. The temps are lower than expected currently. It started to sprout/spike about day 8. Will these low temps destroy my renovation?
I just found your channel and love the content. Have a mixture of Bermuda and fescue along with some other grass types and weeds. I was told to let the Bermuda go dormant and then use roundup to kill everything else out. Is that the best way to approach that?
She is normally shooting guns or giving us wisdom. And then all of nowhere she is on here mowing grass. Small world. Ok, now I will return to the video for fall grass advice 😂
Good Afternoon! Ive enjoyed watching your videos for awhile and have learned a lot. I just saw your latest video and would love the opportunity to work with you and learn from you. I would like to send you my resume if you have a good email. Look forward to hearing from you! -Miguel
Doc knows all, I listen to doc and my business has improved. Thank you Doc!
Doc hit the jackpot by finding Anna!
Anna…. Great addition!

Been following you since 2020, love the content. You look like you've lost some weight too. Looking good Doc!!!
Congratulations, Doc! I’m now on Instagram!!! I noticed you didn’t bring in another grumpy old guy to help you! I guess one on the videos is enough!😂😂😂. Welcome, Anna!!
So glad I don’t have to bother with winterizer, I was always told I needed to apply it. Thanks Doc 😊
Just let it do to sleep. We'll wake it up next year.
The “apaofficelady” haha
She knows how to shoot and knows what rifle stocks are the best!! Foundation for the win!!!
Just ran into your channel, and I LOVE IT!

Anna: PGF stands for “pretty good food” 😂😂😂
Okay little curious you said you have a spring-fed stream that leads into your leg have you ever gone out and try to test pan
Hey doc where do you get your hats from?
Another great vid by the way 😁
The best grass seed in fall under the shade at Wylie Texas.

POA usually comes in the cooler / winter months. Then we have to battle it in the spring.
Looking forward to my rye and blue grass seeding process.
Is the black slime in the garden also called by pgf complete? Did all the extra organic material there mess with your ph?
The issue is with old wood in the soil and the slime comes from standing water after rains.
Nice. How far apart are your fruit trees?
Doc can you recommend a cordless hedge trimmer - thanks.
We've had a Kobalt from Lowes for 4+ years and it has done well. Not sure of the exact model.

We have cameras on it. There is too much other crop and food around for them to be too aggressive. They are lazy eaters.
Do you have a discount code for Amazon?

Watering into the ground where they live is the key. Nothing much you can do until then.
@@HowTowithDoc good deal. Thank you 🙏

Nope... no voles here. There are a few good videos online about them but we don't have to worry about them.
My 10 day forecast shows 100 still LOL!! Damn Texas :p

Really interested in more videos on the orchard. What fruit trees you planting? Are you going to irrigate? Prune? Prep for winter in any way? Thanks!
Apples, pears, and peaches. We can water from the upper well if there is a drought.
I don’t anyone is focusing on the Docs beard lmao. Heeeellloooo Anna!
100000%

You can stop watering as your lawn starts to shut down. Once I’m in the 70s I stop.
@@HowTowithDoc excellent and thank you as always. I will follow that from now on!

Creeping red Fescue seed is what i have had success with in those shady areas of a North facing home.
im in Ok also. any fescue blend will work. you will need to overseed every fall as our summers will burn out some of the fescue.

I can believe Anna is a fitness instructor.
Hi - do you always mulch when mowing?
Depends on the lawn, but most of the time yes. If there is an EXCESS on an older lawn then we pick up.
cleared out /cabin area looking good! Nice new look w the orchard. What's the solution with the lawn holding water?
3 loads of topsoil next year and reshape.
Thanks Doc

Probably not this late. It's going to slow down if temps drop.
Doc - just put down some PGF complete, do I need to wait to spray super juice?
Yes, I don't see a need for both.
When are you showing your new lawn mower...!
Last video I said next week.
I’m sure a lot of people ask this but how often is PGF complete restocked on Amazon?
I'll check with them. It's usually pretty good.
What brand is that hat Doc? I need one of those.
Most come from Gold Coast Hats but that one is from Walmart. $13

Hi Anna
Told ya!! Take the beetle bag away from the trees! You’ve said it was a myth!
We put the bags out AFTER the attack and it worked well.
She is normally shooting guns or giving us wisdom. And then all of nowhere she is on here mowing grass. Small world. Ok, now I will return to the video for fall grass advice 😂
I've been doing it all wrong!! Standing on the toes when target shooting is where it's at!!😁
Did anyone catch that?!🧐
