Best bit (for me) watching the cats pop out knowing that they have a new area to explore.
And me! Love seeing the happy boys 😊👍🏻
Music fantastic
Thank you.
Watching from New Zealand 🇳🇿. Enjoyed that. Be safe 👍
Awesome! Thank you!
Great relaxing cruise. Music and song delightful. Thank you Phil. Bike ride looked good under the tunnels.😊
Thanks 👍
Very enjoyable video Phil 👍
Thanks Mike.
Hi Phil, gosh lots of landslides! You are very talented Phil, the music is brilliant, and I like the mix of old and new. Boots loved your vlog and the music too!
Many thanks.
Looking well Phil.
Thank you.
Quite a landslip the bridge looked a bit undermined those logs could be a bit of a nightmare you wouldn't want them getting tangled up with your propshaft not a very bright idea of placement for the water tap quite a distance to the boat and anyone driving down that lane going to squash a few hoses, always lovely to see the Moggs checking there new boardroom.😼🧐
That was fun watching as travelled that route a few days ago and now moored 2nd along at bridge 26 where Peddlar was. Two boats with friends on stopped just before all oaks wood as there were no moorings for them and they were stuck there as another tree came down blocking the canal, opposite side of the landslide, this has since been cleared thankfully as quite a few boats heading that way to Braunston for the working boat heritage festival. Staying here till next week then on to very familiar Ashby Canal. Have subscribed so will watch with eager anticipation how your travels continue as this and further are well known journeys for me. All best wishes 🦆💕
Thank you. In my older videos I have already covered all these areas before. Welcome aboard.
@@NarrowboatJourneys Thank you, will now binge watch 😂🦆💕
Easy to say in hindsight but it’s a pity the meanders of the old North Oxford weren’t left in as an alternative route.😊
It would be more interesting. Those long straight sections are quite boring.
Evedently I like you waving at the camera. I waved back and then gigele.d. Nice ride, thank you.
Thank you too
good vid cranking it on cut keep up the cool vid s
Great video. Really enjoyed it.
Awesome, thank you!
A lovely video Phil. Beautiful birdsong and those greens of the trees!🐦🐦⬛🦆
Hauntingly beautiful music. Thank you!😊
Thank you Susan.
Lovely cruise indeed. Great music. Made my evening. Thank u 🙏
Thank you so much.
Just watched not a lot changed since we did it back in 2009 but brings back lovely memories especially the trains..got to ask ...why 2 bikes?❤
It's just useful to have a spare bike when you're stuck out in the countryside, miles from anywhere.
Those were some landslides indeed! Luckily they are being repaired and you could pass.
Too bad that swingbridge can't detect boats coming and open plus close by its self.
The technology is there, but would be to expensive.
Phil, did you do all the singing on the musical selections? Beautiful music indeed.
Thank you. No, I don't sing. I wrote the lyrics and use AI to make the music and vocals.
Oh My mistake. Im Susan from the U.S Idaho. This is a new RUclips for me.
😋
Welcome back Susan.
Hello Phil, Before I forget I just subscribed to your music on Amazon Music Kryfold Sky. As you know I live on Long Island, New York USA
My music should only be on BandCamp. It used to be on other sites but the company that put it there failed to remove it. I only get sales payments from Bandcamp, nowhere else unfortunately.
@NarrowboatJourneys I thought so, That's why I let you know. Enjoy the rest of your Evening/Day Phil
Nice journey and music. Do you still have your fish?
Thank you. Yes, still have fish. They are doing fine.
@NarrowboatJourneys Nice. Good to hear. I liked your video about the fish when you put it up. I'd always wondered about keeping fish, reptiles, etc, on a narrowboat. I've got a pet snake . He's the only reason that I haven't opted to live on a narrowboat. I understand it gets very warm on a boat in the summer. Good luck .
Have you been AI bothering Phil ;)
I certainly have been. ;-)
Hello Phil, very interesting to see the extent of the land slip. There’s a short u tube video (The Corris railway extension) where they are widening an embankment,it’s a similar situation and technically challenging.Worth a watch.
Also your musical tracks have changed lately and I think they’re very good, let’s hope you get more subscribers, nearly up to 10k I see.
Thank you. My music has changed recently. The old way of making music, whilst enjoyable, was very time consuming. So now I am writing the lyrics and using AI to do the music and vocals. It still takes several hours but is much faster than the old way, and it allows me to make music I simply cannot do on my own.
@@NarrowboatJourneys I didn’t know such a thing was possible, but the end result sounds very professional.
A few years ago AI generated music was very bland, but not any more. It's getting really good now, and will continue to improve. The vocals are so natural sounding. This is the sort of music I would be making if there were no limitations.
@@NarrowboatJourneys Thanks Phil, as an older person I do wonder where the AI road will take us eventually, will humans be redundant?
Who knows.
Not a fan of the AI type lyrics. however appealingly delivered.
