I think both are useful and depending on your field one may be better than the other. I'd try both and see what one you like the most.
Hi Andy, I am overwhelmed of too many AI tools avaiable. Where should I start? Quick question, I have many Books PDF's and I would like to summarized them all by a keyword. But I would need citations of each resource and page number where the quote is founded. Do you have any recomendation?
I am new to AI tools and I have this question. Can AI tools distinguish between high quality research and low quality research? Or do we have to read papers on our own and judge whether the research in every paper is good or not?
Good question. At the momenet the tools can present all the information you need to make that decision for yourself - you'll still need to think critically about all the papers you are reading.

I've used paid v of perplexity quite extensively, and though it is very good for doing general research, when it comes to specifically researching academic papers it's not that great
With a little bit of work, this could approximate a Cochrane review.

I don't get the hype, for me this tool is failing spectacularly on the simplest queries, I tested its papyer summary function, and it made stuff up, I tried paper research, it failed to find papers I already had.
