The Marvel vs Capcom series was largely based upon Marvel media from the 90s, including these cartoons. The X-Men are actually voiced by their cartoon voice actors in the MvC series up until Marvel 2.
@theraymunator I know that! That's what drew me into Marvel vs Capcom. Because I grew up with the 90s cartoons. I guess you can say that the 90s X-Men animated series is what got me to become a Street Fighter fan.
Almost all of the theme songs for these cartoons are to me the definitive theme songs for the Marvel superheroes. The only debatanle ones are Fantastic Four because it's a bit cheesy, Avengers because EMH exists, and Spider-Man, because I'm a turbo Spidey fan and I'm thorn between this, the Raimi theme, and the original 60s theme.
It's because Marvel either bought out or absorbed the original publisher of MIB which was Malibu Comics approximately mid 80s-ish; the discrepancy can be seen in the original movie trilogy credits (opening for 1 & 2 as well as the ending ones for 3). I did some research on the topic recently and found out about it, though it's hard to say if the MIB Comics are still in production

This was my Marvel Universe
This reminds me so much of the Marvel vs Capcom series.

I feel sorry for Bruce Banner in the Hulk's opening 😢
Wait, Men In Black is part of the Marvel Universe?
@Optimus1.1 Ok.
Technically yes. It's a Marvel comic
It's because Marvel either bought out or absorbed the original publisher of MIB which was Malibu Comics approximately mid 80s-ish; the discrepancy can be seen in the original movie trilogy credits (opening for 1 & 2 as well as the ending ones for 3).
