  • A behind the scenes look at the 1934 Chevrolet Roadster and the build process required to win the prestigious "America's Most Beautiful Roadster" award presented annually at the Grand National Roadster Show. The beautiful creation is a group effort by car owner Jeff Breault, builder Devlin's Rod & Custom, engine builder Automotive Specialists and Johnson's Hot Rod Shop which helped develop many of the one-off parts.

    That is a good-looking bit of engineering excellence. That LS looks amazing, it's amazing what people can do with a little bit of thought and a hell of a lot of talent. Extremely well-documented and presented. thank you

    I absolutely LOVE the LS platform but if I was building "the most beautiful roadster" with insane one off everything I would have probably used something a little different. But the final product is achingly beautiful.

      Yes, it had a couple of issues (mainly a shot of a car that was not the original), so I updated it. RUclips won't let me just update an existing video, so I had to take it down and re-upload. Sorry if there is any confusion.

    As beautiful as it came out, I really hate to see an old classic cut up like that. IMO they would been better off custom making the entire body rather that cutting a rare classic.
    BEAUTIFUL CAR though!

    That is one of the cleanest builds I've ever seen. Did I miss something about the heads? Are those 1 offs? They are beautiful I know that!!

    • @TheHorsepowerMonster
      @TheHorsepowerMonster  2 года назад +2

      No, the heads are just fairly standard castings. But they have been highly modified and smoothed for a completely different exterior look. Also have been hand ported. Thanks for watching

      @@TheHorsepowerMonster why are the rockers so low? They just put a flat plate over them to mount the coils

    What did the builders do to the remains of the skin donor? It doesn’t look like it would take much part scrounging for unobtanium to re-complete the stocker and drive it away.

    Hello sir I like a lot of your videos I think you will find some things that I am doing very interesting My engines have set 12 or 13 national land speed records and I've done some pretty exotic things very similar to what Dorton does I would love to get in contact with you because I am doing another build that I think you and your fan base will find very very interesting. Not sure how to do this so leave me a response as to how we can get in touch with each other thank you. Talk to you soon. Brian Salter
