I was born in a Buddhist family in Myanmar. I didn't know anything about Lord Shiva. But about 9 months ago, I somehow started to know about Lord Shiva through internet. I instantly fell in love with him. I just suddenly love him so much and I like everything about him. . . his music, his dance, his knowledge, mantras, everything. Now I am a Shiva Bhakt.

Idolise him, but never become a bhakt, or join a bhakti community. It's will turn you away from a spiritual path.
He is the one our lively Siddharhta Gautama worshiped. Buddhism is a great religion, but the reason I do not follow it is as its too limited. And do not misunderstand me, I am not saying the religion was always like this, there was a time when it was actually great.
Hinduism is not a religion, its a phenomena or a philosophy of life. I always consider Buddhism, Sikkhism and Jainsim and part of Hinduism.

I was raised in an Orthodox Christian family. We followed strict Christian rules no worship of other Gods and no learning inquiring or asking about other religions period! Frustration and lack of fulfillment led me to experiment with marijuana. And then one day out of the blue I experience a vision of a god that smoked the herb, something told me to look for him…. And just like that I’ve come to knw of him to love him very deeply and to rely on him. He is truly pure, and he rectified and vanquished all my obstacles. He is musical, eternal, giving and kind. He accepted my offerings despite me not being Hindu and not knowing all of the proper ways of giving an offering.
Buddy, God's don't have religion...The source is one , the manifestations are several....we have named the manifestations....Sanathan dharm is the mother of all religions...Hinduism, Christianity everything the offshoots of it....Hinduism is almost like Sanathan Dharm like an identical offspring without much change....That's it....this is the Crux!

How Shiva comes in my life. In my childhood I was impressed by lord Hanuman and start worshiping more than 12 years. After that my mind started praying Lord Rama Whenever I start chanting Hanuman but after few minutes I was automatically switched to Rama with out any premind. After age of 40 I have started worshiping Lord Vishnu. And last 2 years in early morning when I starts meditation my mind started chanting Shiva. This Journey up to Supreme Lord Shiva gives me inner peace. Shiva is creator of universe. He created all Gods to run this universe. Mount Kailash is gateway to travel galaxies. Om namah shivay 🙏

I can understand this perfectly. For Ma Kali invaded my life in 1994 when I had a vision of her a few hours or days after my full kundalini awakening. I consider her to be Adi Shakti. I would say the same as Sadhguru: I do not see myself as the devotee of Kali; rather, I see myself as Kali's daughter and as having become Kali, for I have always possessed child-like, intoxicating, fearless energy.

He's already an accomplished yogi in different lifetimes. He reincarnated due to unfinished business. His mental body remembers that mountain peak. Hence, he didn't stop until that memory was fulfilled. From there that unfinished business was continued and is flourishing today.

That’s how shiva came into my life. I had an NDE and he started coming to me with his family. The things I learned have been amazing but I didn’t know anything about the Hindu religion before I had the NDE. Now I somehow know his mantras? I have no idea how this is possible but Lord Shiva is indeed forceful and my life is his.

I had a similar event but to me Ganesh made themself known. Om. Is the sum total sound of the vibration of all things. Our universe hums due to the vibration of all things this is om. Om is the sound of our universe. All things exist in multiple permutatuons. All things exist in multiple timelines. Regret is pointless, there is a permutation of yourself that has carried out any decision you have had either conscious or subconsciously. You have taken those paths and those realities rest parralel to this one. When you end your physical interpretation of the universe you re mix with your other points of interpretation. I'm learning about Shiva through having started my spiritual journey and being called by Santa Muerte. She told me many things that were confirmed during my Awakening. Shiva the destroyer, I feel, is more about transformation than death, as is Santisima. Shiva's call is becoming strong to me...as if He is an aspect of Her, and vice versa. Sadhguru mentioned the 🦉, and my heart started vibing...because the owl Is a symbol of Santa Muerte..and because I see Owls in my garden at night all the time now.. If he forcefully invaded your life, does that imply, he took away your free will? So you didn't want to meet Shiva, Shiva decided to meet you, and change your destiny, without you doing any Sadhana? Then why, some people pray, and are ignored, and lose faith, and others suddenly have divine experience, the only reason, I can think of, is past lives devotion.
He was the choosen one to keep up Dharma, raise true awareness and bring people faith once again in this period of kali Yuga(Dark Age).

Wow I know very little about Hindu but I’m very spiritual and gifted. I have been going through the dark night of soul and coming out bright but I’m having some very big lessons and the dark side is blocking me. As I’m learning to travel this new terrain Shiva has come to me several times to walk by my side as I am taking my life back from those trying to steal it from me. Shiva is beautiful powerful and a friend.

Last couple weeks I’ve been learning more about Hinduism and Shiva is one particular aspect I have found myself drawn to. The other I drove past a car with the license plate “SHIVA” on my way to the mountains and it made me chuckle.
The turning point in my life.
After spending my years practicing some blind faith as Christian fully totally dissatisfied with my life. I decided to embrace a new path, self realization, mystical , 2020,was year great decision, fires a free thinker,. I learned to meditate using Om.
After one year of chanting OM positive changes and transformation takes place in my life. I calm and serene.and fearless! One night I received my OM iniation in dream. Sadhguru apear to place his hand in third eye and say received OM iniation! I was also praying to Lord Shiva in my own ways for guidance and protection! Behold Lord appears to with another God that looks like him but O Shiva spoke to me " those that does not recognize as the head of family'-----". Today I worship God Shiva, Lord Shiva has help to defeat dangerous enemies.

Owl is one of my power animals. No other creature has the sight and hearing of the owl. This is a sign for great psychic power as the owl penetrates the dark, it sees and knows what the other animals cannot, it is always always scanning and inserting its watchfulness. My story is somewhat different from every one ....I didnt started his bhakti from my own ...I didn't took it as a choice ...it is something I saw in my dreams as some image came in my dream wearing snake in his neck having Cresent moon on his head and I was in fever and shock for atleast a day❤️ this was the phase in my life when I was at my lowest ......he invaded me definately and after that shiva got me close to him ❤️ and rescued me from that lowest and uplifted me in his hands ❤️
Very wise very understanding and understandable . Having a outerbody exsperience and thought all day beforehand I can relate to this wisdom and brings back memories and feelings as well as thoughts deep peaceful relating to the planet and cosmos

As I passed the abandoned Our Lay of Lourdes catholic church in Elmira, NY, two blocks from my home, I said out-loud "Oh Lord Krishna if only this were a temple and I could give you auspicious Devotion and fellowship in". Well, a miracle happened for me because Bhakti Marga America just bought that church and I met Swami Tulsidas who is now my Guru! Hare Krishna!!!!!
One thing I have noticed about sadguru, you dont have to know the question asked to him, you just need to know the answer what he explains. It is like continuous flow of knowledge. You need to collect it as much as possible and implement in your life. That's why they call it "Absolute Truth". All answers lead to absolute truth.

Do you mean, Freedom even when other beings are in illusion? If Freedom is so irresponsible, then any day we can die and be liberated, but such is not TRUE FREEDOM. Freedom is responsibility of Sadhana, even when here and after death too. Does simply preaching about Shiva(who is strongly identified for Devotion) and now calling him Adiyogi and CREATING A HOPE ABOUT FUTURE as if people can give up society based compulsions one day, is Sadhana and not what Buddha says of APPO DEEPO BHAVA/ BE A LIGHT TO ONESELF?
the closer we get!..the less we are..... in blind compulsive reaction. ....the more we repose..... in gracefull response...they say ultimately if we allow ourselves...there is that great surrendering of personality!! into the light of Brahma!
