Heard it the first time at a mixcompiltion by Sven Väth Ibiza the 4th Season, since then it shares together with Len Fakis Odysee2 my alltime first place ever. What a soulfull brilliant track that tells a story of it´s own class...Still love it and still playing it cause it matches my understanding of brilliant Technomusic in its soundstructure
My favourite memory of this track was in 2003 at Cocoon, Amnesia. Garnier followed by Sven, who played this. Two English guys in a state of bliss amongst so many mad characters from around the world - not overly packed either, which is always a beautiful thing. I believe they let workers in free back then, as we met plenty of people who were just letting loose after grafting all week. Such an incredible atmosphere. My next visit to Cocoon at Amnesia was around 2010 and it was absolutely jam packed. Gone were Dave & Sally, the young couple working out there for the summer from Doncaster, promoting the big, bland club events. It was now like a monolithic techno cult where everybody dressed the same. It just felt so far removed from that era where it really was 'nobody listens to techno', as the Detroit white kid decried. It was like a mirage from what we'd seen previously, one where every man and his dog now 'listened to techno'. Yet, 7 years previous, there were the workers, the openminded mainland Europeans and the northern working class UK lads - all of us skint and sharing bottles of water, as they were £6 a bottle - all opus absolutely enthralled in a night of pulsating and emotional house & techno. That's the sure sign of a party for the trues heads though, when the promoter is letting the grafters in free and the rest just know it's Garnier & Sven for a reasonable entry fee. Well worth £6 for a bottle of water, with some moody E's when your 22! PS. I don't blame Cocoon for being a fucking spectacular success, that is how good it was. Everything great becomes a victim of its own success, invariably. Sven is one of the masters of the art, and always will be!
Loving this. Ibiza is dead. Been 5 times the best was just me and my girl. The last time was in 2018 went to pacha to see solomun. Nearly got into a fight (at a rave!) with some arab lads cos i was actually 'DANCING' near then LOL Thank fuck for buzzing rnd the island on a ped and chilling on cala basa beach. Remember the amazing nights we had. Safe as fuck reach for the lazers. Peace
I think he probably means that crazy music with a FULL DANCEFLOOR without any gsm ( even no girl that is texting :) but all go wild as TRUE TECHNO REBELS ( yess all of them :p ) dancing shaking 9 o clock smiling even harder shaking & crying as loud as possible ... noon & stil smily shaking ;) No no nooo , I really meant what I said even than no gsm & still beïng TRUE TECHNO REBELS ... respecting grtzzz
It´s not about beeing to get old, it´s all about musicunderstanding. This year I´m getting 50, but this track stands for my as a alltime number one while djing since 32 years. Although I know it´s from 2004 (I guess) wich means it´s 20 years old, but this a real masterpiece!
OMG this takes me back........................................ stomping tune, this i heard pete tong or the judge drop it back in the late 90s - thanks for the upload!!!!!!

What an inspired moment from Paul Jackson. Still as spine tingling and cinematic as the first time I heard it. A true gem.
One of The Greatest tunes
It's got that malevolent sound like storytelling a nightmare via sound ....this would be perfect on a prodigy tune
So many memories, such a tune, such a classic. Im hate to be old.
With this you'll never be old))

This track was so far ahead of it's time.
Deserves a lot more views (listens). Great tune that has endured.
Has got to be one of the best tracks ever !
Love the dark sinister energy this exudes
Adds so much depth to the music
