For me this would be the perfect way to live I love it. The house has everything a single or retired person could ask for. I love it.
My thoughts exactly, I've lived in flats and while I like not having much to do inside I need more space outside and at least a metre between myself and neighbours. Quiet is nice so is privacy.

The smaller homes are a brilliant idea. A bit crowded for two people, but it can be done. Best part, your in-laws will have to stay somewhere else when they visit.

This is a dollhouse. Love the floorplan and the windows. With a few mods, I can very much see myself living in the space.
Charming house and curb appeal. Love that it's just 4 corners for lower cost and convenient use of space.
This house is just about all needed.
Perfect bug/critter proofing and far beyond requirement insulation would make it perfect 👍

I have 600 square foot former Navy base duplex and it's solid as a rock.
Built in the mid 40's.... plaster and lathe walls, and solid wood everything. 😊
60 mole an hour winds don't even rattle it a bit.

I like this one even better than the 5x5! Wonderful layout. I like having a desk in the bedroom, also a storage unit that serves as closet and dresser. Nice, nice little house.
Love it, the only thing I would add for me is a covered porch/deck all the way around the house.🙂

This one is perfect! The washer/dryer made it for me.
I missed one of them I see either the washer OR the drier but I don't see both. I live now and have lived most of my life without an auto dishwasher and am great with it... but I would miss an electric drier. My neighbor raised 3 boys with just a washing machine and waited for nice days to hang out her clothes. But I am spoiled.
@@valfletcher9285 It's a combo washer/dryer. It does both. They use them a lot in Europe.

I like the way it is put together. The spaces are great. It actually looks a lot bigger inside.
Sweet little house with a washer/dryer combo, oven to bake in, refrigerator, enough room in the kitchen for a little dinette table, and so many ways to customize it to make your own…easy to maintain and low energy costs & property taxes.

Без прихожей и кладовки в доме жить совершенно невозможно. Войдешь со двора, куда денешь грязньiе ботинки - под кухонньiй стол кинешь? А пальто где повесишь? А швабру и ведро в спальне спрячешь?

Cool. Seems like there is on improvement I would make, and that is to reverse the bedroom and the bathroom to put all the plumbing close together on one side of the house.

All I want in life is a small 2 bedroom house with a porch and a garden.
Me too. And I want to watch the sunrise on my porch with my morning coffee. I'm retired and stuck in a horrible apartment. I want out, but can't find affordable land for a tiny home.

This looks great. I might remove the laundry machine from the kitchen, and instead add a door from kitchen to an add-on for washer and dryer and some pantry/storage space... in addition to the changes that others recommended about swapping the bathroom and laundry positions for plumbing costs and efficiency. :)
Smart idea, it's what I thought of too. A high quality hardwood murphy table for the washer/dryer would be best, everything is there as you need it.

You would love the "J" Wall plan with center plumbing wall as it makes room for 1/2 bath/Utility room allowing a master bath suite. It's in Park Model format so only 400 sq. ft. Also has a French door out of Bedroom to Juliet Balcony...4Fathoms Designs...Now if I could get the "Proof of Concept" built it would be a big step for remodeling all the empty Park Models going to waste...

@@DonLicuala Or...I just have a young family and I am into food preservation and self-sufficiency lol. Scaling down is a matter of perspective. You are right- I don't believe in tiny home for the sake of tiny. I look at the principles of why - and that makes for all the diversity of solutions we see within the market. A strictly tiny home is not suitable for most young families- a smaller home, scaled down, but still suitable, would be great!
To reduce cost, would it not be helpful to have the bathroom and kitchen share a common wall, to keep the plumbing as centralized as possible?

There was no faucet for the kitchen sink tho. I'm a bit confused, not in the drawing or the photo. Is there plumbing in the kitchen? It looks like the entire house was just set on the ground there, not built there. Personally I need a garage, workspace, they could add a higher roof for loft area, extra bed area kept storage. A pantry is needed the way things are now
Also, a second door is needed.

@@DonLicuala I shower too, but most clawfoot tubs come with the shower attachment as well, So I like to do both shower first bath 2nd :)

As this is for a single or couple… I’d put a sliding pocket door or a barn door between the lounge and bedroom.
This would reclaim the space wasted between the bedroom and the bathroom. It’s a tiny house, it doesn’t need a hallway, no matter how small.
It would turn the bathroom into an ensuite, but would that matter in a 320sqf space?

So cute and well designed, simple and yet not cramped. I'd move the bed though to the other side in case at night you could hear pipe/water noises from the bathroom, and have a small tub instead of a shower, but they are personal preferences.

Nice layout - especially the bathroom can enter through bedroom or outside of bedroom
This one is pretty good. It has the important window in the bathroom, so essential in a tiny space. I would put hooks with a shelf to the right of the shower, for towels and clothes and toiletries, easy fix. Likewise hooks to right of the clothes wardrobe in the bedroom, and maybe some between the bedroom door and bathroom, for guests coats. No room for a broom or vacuum, but one can be put under the bed. Maybe make the living room couch a fold out. I the kitchen table was a narrow rectangular, you could have seating for 4. And put against the wall. But this one I like. Were it mine I would want it just a little bit bigger, but this one is good.

Excellent for single person or couple that doesn't work from home. Needs another exit in case of emergency and a large screened in deck would be ideal. Great use of space. My area will not allow these small dwellings. Hope laws will change!
No need for an emergency door. The bedroom window would be fine. This is only a one floor/ground floor house .

A more spacious dining room can be used as living room as well if you choose comfortable chairs. Automatically the kitchen will be slightly larger as well.
