- 🎬 Hello and welcome to my channel. This video is the first in the series dedicated to Tandy Radio Shack TRS-80 Model 1 computer repair.
In particular, in this first episode, we will verify the two voltages (AC and DC) at the output of the external power supply and then we will measure the three voltages on the motherboard (+5V, +12V and -5V).
We also disassemble the transformer and take a look at the main components to check in case of failure.

La documentazione tecnica del TRS-80 è fatta così tanto bene che è impossibile non appassionarsi. Infatti, oltre che essere utile al troubleshooting di questa macchina è uno strumento eccezionale per comprendere il funzionamento dei computer in generale. I tecnical reference manual sono, ovviamente, in ligua inglese ma facilmente comprensibili 😉
Il tempo, purtroppo, è sempre poco ma piano piano sono sicuro di riportarlo in vita 🙂
