The Olympus Quick Flash AFL was nicknamed ‘Picasso’ from the Japanese word ‘pika’, meaning flash, due to the way the flash operated (recharging in a fast 1.5 sec). The AFL was so advanced at time of release, it was priced near to SLR territory. Painful: It uses a non-replaceable lithium battery - one of the first cameras using Lithium. When the battery went flat, you had to return it for a replacement! There are current workarounds to replace the cells using CRP2 Batteries.
