Today's menu is 'Edamame'.
You'll be familiar with this if you watch anime or been to a Japanese restaurant but for those of you that don't know, it's basically steamed/boiled immature soybean pods.
It sounds boring but it's surprisingly moreish.
It's a very popular beer snack in Japan so if you are out of things to pair with your beer, give this a try.
Ingredients:
Immature Soybean Pods (edamame): 200g
Water: 500mL
Salt: 1tsp + 2tsp

Honestly kind of surprised that some don't know about edamame beans. I live in Canada and I have them for dinner a lot since they're easy to prepare

If you're looking for non-alcoholic alternatives, maybe sparkling apple juice, malta (same ingredients as beer minus fermentation to make alcohol so probably?), or seltzer/club soda with syrup?
