i have an R and an RS - yes that is a low seat, the stock RS seat is higher and looks flat from side on. Is exactly right for me.The low seat came on my R , but I am 6ft it was too low and uncomfortable so I got an upholsterer to add foam to it and that fixed it - the price BMW charge for a replacement seat is too high when you can get it altered for 20% of the price of a new one
