From 3:00 for Sextile/Trine is so true. My Mars is in Leo Trines his Sun in Sagittarius. He gives me a lot of inspiration and I enjoy being playful and flirty around him. I really like our combination.
Actually Mars and sun hard aspects is the most important if you want to grow spiritually cuz it will force you to either get rid of the other person completely or learn the accept the reality. It will keep push you until you because untouched by the outer conflict because Mars hard aspects sun is really painful for feminine sun person.
The only two people I HATE in the world have their Mars closely opposite my Sun. I absolutely hate being around them, my personality/ego gets completely destroyed and crashed around them. I despise this aspect in a synastry
SAME. Even if at first I found them interesting it ended in strong misunderstanding or hate lol I still don’t really like any of those mars opposite my sun(Pisces). They didn’t destroy anything but their energy was so draining and only pulled me down vs when I meet someone whos mars conjuncts my sun or vice versa I feel vitalized and excited to be around them way different but much better lol

@@amixedbat I feel Pisces energy is often very misunderstood and portrayed as needy when it's not. We like to feel limitless and hate constriction the most in the whole zodiac. We are usually not aggressive about it like an Aries or blunt and inconsiderate like a Sag; it is part of our core though and we do create situations where we can feel this limitlessness. It is when we feel most at home. Earth is not really home for us, the vast universe is. The all encompassing love is that is there but rarely felt and experienced whilst stuck on 3 D Earth. This striving and yearning of limitlessness also applies to relationships. For example, I see my relationship with my partner (which is long distance) as a learning experience for my soul. I have learned to overcome some of my own personal limits (not boundaries, but limits, there is a difference) since I'm with him (eg.: I was convinced I could not be with someone who has such different views on politics and society than me. That changed though). I do not want to merge with him at all but our relationship has been a tool for me to reach a new dimension of this limitlessness within me, in this case regarding my own views and my own personality that now feels less restrictive to me. I hope that makes sense a bit. It's not that easy to put it into words.
What about out of sign sun-mars conjunctions, are they valid in synastry?
Me and my hubby have this.Sun sextile mars .His sun is Scorpio and his mars is Scorpio. My sun is Virgo and my mars is also virgo. Hes cancer Ascendent I'm Scorpio Ascendent. I think I'm stuck with him for life..Sigh..ROFL

Exact conjunction of his Mars on my Sun/Pluto in Libra in the 5th and His Moon on my Venus in Scorpio to boot! Hottest sex and the most attentive lover. And my Mars is in Leo;)
I've had a long-term, off-and-on thing for years. We have Sun square Mars. We don't annoy each other.

You Sun or Mars?
The sun-mars opposition was always more destructive for me than the square and conjunction. Particularly if there is a fixed energy to the opposition. For example, I had an out of sign (by only 1 degree) opposition with an Aquarius Sun and they did everything they could to criticize me and keep me down. We had a lot of ego clashes, I always insisted I was correct (I often was, no fronting) and they hated how I challenged their authority.
My Mars falls in the last degree of Cancer and I know it’s impossible for Mars to be on the “cusp” of Leo, but it still felt like the same as Aquarius Sun opposite Leo Mars… both of us wanted to shine and we kept getting in each other’s way.
Makes sense as a Pisces sun every Virgo mars (especially Virgo moon) I cannot stand lol opposition is terrible for this placement imo sm conflict and I would get turned off fairly easy
I can't remember the name of this type of conjunction, but what about when these planets conjunct but not in the same zodiac energy? As an example, my sun is at 29 Pisces and his mars is at 6 Aries.. it is close to my sun-moon midpoint (Moon at 19 Aries), but do these kind of conjunctions still have the hot effect you speak of? We're pretty.. hot, but there's a lot of other synastry that points to this.

We have the sextile and trine in synastry and the square in composite! What does this mean?! We become less agreeable as time goes on? And we both have em in fixed signs lol Aquarius and Taurus. Ugh 😢 prolly one of the worst squares we have in the composite 😅

Does the degree of the aspect matter. I’m an Aquarius sun Sagittarius mars, he’s a Sagittarius sun aquarius mars. However they’re not close enough to make an aspect.
I love this too. My bby is a Cancer sun I’m a Cancer Mars. Also I have a Cancer Ascendant. He has a Venus in Cancer. lolol He instinctively know I am Cancer ascendant eventhough he only knows I’m a Virgo sun :3 Her mother is also a Virgo and We’re double whammy in Mars and Venus. Trine is best imo. Conjunct is kind of obnoxious, square is toxic.

My husbands sun AND mercury are 10° Capricorn 9th house right on top of each other. And my Mars is 9° Capricorn 1st house. How do I read this when he has two planets right on top of each other? 🤔

Very good question. The old English astrologer, Raphael, reckoned that 8 degrees was the maximum orb of influence with conjunctions, oppositions, trines and squares. Vedic astrologers seem more liberal and go by house positions rather than exact degrees of the zodiac (probably because they did not have technological measuring devices?)
I would say too wide. It depends on the astrologer but in my own experience and from what I've read, 5 degrees is conjunct. You guys have similar ways of doing things, but if the conjunction is too wide there's going to be enough of a difference to not feel an effect (he might be more emotional, all or nothing, and biting, you might be more artistic, creative, and driven to express life truths in a poetic way vs their more brash way)

There could also be many other aspects that are somewhat harmonious, especially with Moon, that will over-ride the difficult aspects?
Both those planets are dignified in those signs, I wonder if that tones down the conflict

I am a Capricorn sun and he is a Libra mars. I know he makes me incredibly angry. Im pretty freaking sure I get on his last nerves too. He has his mars squares Neptune so he's always acting innocent but I always bust him lying and go in a full blown rage because instead of being honest he lies and makes me confront him with the truth. Then once I go full blown ape s-t he still doesn't accept responsibility. It's still my fault.🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️ Not to mention my venus in Aquarius is squared by his pluto. I hate we have children together because all I want to do is run away from him and never speak to him or see his cheating you know what ever again.
@Captain Jovial I think it's pretty manageable. Probably would play out with you being the mars person getting challenged by them in a way that's opposite to what they typically do in whatever situations/houses yall have your mars and his sun in. For us I have my sun in the 8th house in and he has his in the 12th house. So I naturally am good at finding things & research . I also have a mars in scorpio as well. He is super comfortable doing things in a Pisces way which no shade they lie and they aren't comfortable with direct conflict or harsh truths. So for us essentially it was about trust and bonding at a deeper level. He doesn't like my way of thinking that I need to double check what I am being told and would prefer that I just accept his tendencies to lie, cheat and would use emotional manipulation to try to get to forgive when in reality all he had to do was keep it hundred. So my advice for you is to really study both your chart and your significant others and pay close attention to what yall argue about and how yall go about the resolution. For us with the squares we couldn't. Like he has to cross the street when he sees me or else its gonna be mad drama 🤣🤣🤣🤦🏻♀️

I am also a mutable sign (Pisces sun) and every opposition mars (Virgo) that I’ve met I cannot stand in the end and it doesn’t last so from my experience definitely not lasting. I would say conjunction is the strongest
@@Jessknowsbestt How about if there are other good synastry aspects and compatibilities? With the person I like we have also Venus trine venus, sun trine sun, sun trine nercury, juno trine venus, juno sextile juno and many harmoneous saturn aspects. The problem is only her sag stellium (mars, moon, saturn, uranus) in opposition to my sun and mercury (conjunct) in gemini. Otherwise we really have chemistry together!
@@sebastianeberle9738 Id say anything that hits Venus is mostly attraction and surface level but you really want to look at your Saturns for binding effects and the moon. Usually if you moons or Saturns are not compatible than it will definitely cause a-lot of conflict with each other down the road. I have met a lot of peoples who’s Venus trines my sun and the attraction is there but they were not long lasting. I also see the opposition with sun/moon which I also experienced and let me just say every (Virgo moon) I’ve met irks me idk if I dislike the moons or mars more tbh lol But I am wishing you luck whether this works out or not give it a shot .. you can always learn something from opposite energies so take it as a learning experience !
