    Thanks for the info, this helped me find out why reverse wasn't just popping in when sliding to "R", had to go past and come back to get it to engage. The bushing on the transmission end was gone. 2005 Lariat 171k

      What kind of cable did you use for your 2005 Lariat?

    • @BushingfixFL
      @BushingfixFL  3 года назад

      @@1StarNuke I'm hoping I'm answering the correct question. The Bushing Kit in discussion was the transmission shift cable that runs from tranny to shifter.

      Yes, we received your email and responded with many questions. Such as which end of cable did you replace bushing? How long since truck was operational? Have you inspected both ends of shift cable for bushing defects? Have you inspected entire length of shift cable? Is the cable length adjusted properly so that gears move freely?

      We only sell replacement bushings for transmission shift cables, and transfer cases. Here is a link that will take you to how to replace timing belts on Ford Rangers. It does vary slightly by engine liter: www.bing.com/videos/search?q=ford+rangeer+timing+belt+replacement&FORM=HDRSC3

    The new White clip I purchased doesn't seem to want to LOCK the outer shell in place keeping the clip locked and tight so it loosens to the point that you can't put the truck in park .

      I'm not absolutely certain that I am answering correctly but if you are in need of replacement bushing on a Impala then our SI2kit fits both tranny end as well as shifter end of the cable. Here's the link: www.bushingfix.com/chevrolet-impala-shift-cable-bushing-repair-kit/

    2013, f 150, center console shifter? haven't gotten under it yet but wondering where to start

    • @BushingfixFL
      @BushingfixFL  23 дня назад

      The easiest end to inspect is the end closest to transmission. Or if our shifter in the center console feel loose then obviously that's where to begin.

    My gear shift is locked in position after the bushing link failed. I was able to crawl under the truck and manual shift into Drive to make it home. If I replace the clip will my shifter move freely?

      Let's start another way .......what year? And it is an automatic F150? Does "bushing link" refer to bushing? can you send pics of what you are referring to: ascensioneng@gmail.com

    What's the name of that part??

    • @BushingfixFL
      @BushingfixFL  2 года назад +1

      This particular video is on the F2Kit. Depending upon the year of your F150 and whether you are replacing bushing at shifter or tranny end you may require a different part. I 've included the link for full listings on F150 MODELS: www.bushingfix.com/ford-f-150-shift-cable-bushing-options/. If unsure as to which part works for your truck please contact us at ascensioneng@gmail.com.

    Where's this clip location?

    • @BushingfixFL
      @BushingfixFL  2 года назад

      The clip that holds the kit is on the exterior end of your shift cable. The shift cable runs from base of interior shifter to transmission. So on your truck its behind engine and underneath in most cases.

    • @BushingfixFL
      @BushingfixFL  3 года назад

      The other end depending on the year requires an Si2Kit. I have the part to repair but there are too many console variations to film them all but if you email us at ascensioneng@gmail.com and tell me the year/make/model we can likely help you locate the end and direct you to the part to repair.
