I am an advance/intermediate on piste skier, who’s wanting to get more into park skiing. I can hit pretty big jumps, not the huge ones, but I don’t do any tricks off them. I’m 167.5cm tall 165lbs. What length would you suggest in these skis, 160 or 170? Thanks for the video, great review!!!
Bought these skis as a beginner. 8 days on them they are very easy to ride and pretty forgiving. I am 5’6 and 130lbs and I picked up 160cm. Light powder and groomer they do them well. The system bindings are very easy to setup and they seem pretty secure and very little play once setup property with your boots.
I have already ordered a set of these, so I'm really just looking for affirmation that I'll be alright. I am an intermediate skier, but have always rented because we live in Texas and don't make it every year. But we are going this year. I am not an aggressive skier, 5'7 155 and the biggest they had was 160cm. I like a shorter ski anyway. I plan on practicing switch skiing while we are there, and playing around in trees. I also enjoy moguls. Lastly, I didn't want to spend more than $300 because I will ski 3 days in a year max, so it would take at least 2 years for me to make up the investment. I was told 170 was recommended for me, but the 160 will be at my eyebrow, so I'd figured I'd be just fine with 160. Am I wrong?
As a advanced intermediate who lives on the east coast I appreciate having a cheaper ski since I know it’s bound to get chewed up on our variable snow conditions

I do backflips and sometimes I don’t rotate enough and stab the ski in the ground would these handle that?

You should be fine. It especially for 3 days a year it will be easier to pick back up being shorter.
