We got married in a small house in Seattle called "Chapel of the Bells", then went for yum cha (dim sum). Cost around $40 for my dress and shoes. My kids are having big gatherings for their weddings, but it's more for a party/ celebration. They have more money than we ever had.
My hubby and I did the courthouse wedding almost 34 years ago. If you spend more time planning the wedding than you do planning your marriage, there's an issue. Just sayin.
