Flatout 3 is rated so low because of how legendary FO 1 and 2 were - this "continuation" is pretty much a violation so everyone hates it
so it's a good game on its own but it's a downgrade from previous games.

yup it's playable but flat out 2 was 1000% better. Even in graphics, flatout 2 beats 3 easily.

It's bad, but not "worst game ever" bad. I agree that it sucks and it's a disgrace to the Flatout franchise, but I can think of at least 50 games worse than it.

I don't know what happened but I think the original studio behind FlatOut, Bugbear Entertainment, lost the rights to making those games and the franchise was given to a different company and it just went downhill ever since FlatOut 3. Bugbear Entertainment went on and created Ridge Racer: Unbounded and eventually created the FlatOut spiritual successor, "Wreckfest."

The reason why it’s rated so low is due to it not being as good as the series’s earlier titles, if you think this game is your kind of thing, I’d highly recommend getting Flatout 2 and Flatout Carnage

War of Three Kingdom(三国杀) is the worst and lowest rated game because its bad reputation for making players recharge for them to get cards but many players find that even they charge a lot(maybe more than $10k) they cannot get the card they want. Many Chinese players accuses Yoka's greed for ripping money rather than making a good game so they all gave bad rates in steam. And more interestingly, if other bad games becomes the lowest rated one, Chinese players would give good rates to those games so that those games will drop the worst game ranking and 三国杀 can still be the worst one.
