I've tried it in Meta Spark version 171 and have turned on the capability, but it doesn't work. And there is no error message. Just metaspark detects the capability is unused. Should I try it in version 173?
@@mateuniverse thank you for the answer! How do you think is there any chance to use vat textures exported from standard Houdini labs vat exporter in your shader inside Spark? Or at least maybe you could give me a hint what’s the difference between two textures which you in Blender? Maybe I’ll be able to use similar approach and create suitable textures in Houdini?
@@MrMarinest I started working on a houdini exporter but didnt finish that. most people use blender so probably no. However, you can just write your animation from houdini as alembic, import into blender and export the VAT textures from there.

confirmed working in 172. should work in 171 as well... try just opening the included demo project and see if it works.

no, the shaders are specific to the files the blender plugin outputs. I started a shader for the houdini plugin but never got around to finishing it.
